The Harbour Towne Inn is a beautiful home right on the waterfront. It’s a 100 year old mansion and is decorated like a seaside home should be, with victorian furniture and seaside motifs. Outside there is a pretty dock and everything in town is right there - just a short walk for you to enjoy the activity of Boothbay Harbor. Breakfast included quiche, egg casserole, blueberry muffins, fruit, orange juice and coffee. This was a classic place to stay andfor us served as a nice break from other cookie cutter hotel stays. Highly recommended.

Owner, Stefanie, and her gracious staff, have rewritten the book on Bed and Breakfast Hospitality! From the freshly baked cookies that greet you upon arrival to the well appointed, beautifully decorated rooms, your visit is sure to exceed your expectations. Breakfast changes daily with many fresh, healthy, and true to New England options. The bedding is so comfortable, I had my best sleeps while on vacation here. Situated in a quieter part of Boothbay Harbor, be sure to catch a concert in the Opera House across the street! I'm already booking at The Harbour Towne Inn for a return next summer! Thank you for such an enjoyable, peaceful stay.

We had a very clean, bright, and comfortable room. We sat on the porch in the evening and enjoyed watching the gulls. The innkeeper is so pleasant and prepared a lovely breakfast.

You CAN have it all - and you can have it at the Harbor Towne Inn. Location, quality accommodations, ambiance, unbelievable florals everywhere, the breakfast fare, and Stephanie’s hospitality. Loved it so much that we booked for next year when we checked out. Can’t wait to go back.

This is a bed & breakfast located within walking distance to downtown Boothbay. Beautiful Inn, the penthouse suite affords panoramic views of the harbor with most other suites also with views of the harbor. Staff is phenomenal, making your stay memorable. The rooms are furnished much as they would have been in the late 1800’s with all the modern amenities. Each room has a balcony or patio sitting area. There is access to the bay from the back of the property stairs leading to a small dock area with seating. This inn is absolutely gorgeous.

Our visit to the Harbour Town Inn on the Waterfront was our last stop on a two week road trip through New Hamphire and Maine. While most of our trip was planned a few months ago, we'd decided to wait until we were actually traveling to choose our final destination. While exploring the numerous possibilities, my husband found this inn, which is a very pretty (and historic) B&B. The inn, built in the mid/late 1800s, has a lot of character. Most of the historic detail has been preserved. Because of its age, the floors and stairway do creak, regardless of how gingerly you walk, but that's all part of the charm! We stayed in room 4, which is accessed by the main interior stairway. It's my understanding that every room is different, so my description pertains only to our room. I'd read in another review that the walls were paper thin and that you could hear everything going on in the adjacent room. This is definitely not an issue in room 4. As you enter the room, the bed is up against a wall adjacent to the stairwell. Two walls face a deck. The 4th wall (same one the doorway is on) is where the bathroom is. I'm not sure what's on the other side of the bathroom wall, but we think it might be the bathroom for another room as we could hear the shower a little bit. We couldn't hear anything else. Our room was very clean and smelled very nice, due to a packet of potpourri hanging from a clothes rack. The room has a very comfortable queen bed, a small fridge, TV and several power strips and charging stations for your phone, laptop, etc. The bathroom shower is a bit tight and might be a bit uncomfortable for someone with a larger build. Shampoo, conditioner, soap, mouthwash and makeup remover pads were provided, along with a very nice set of towels and wash cloths. There's a sign saying they'll change the towels if you leave them on the floor. I did hang up our towels, but left the wet bathmat on the floor with the expectation that it would be replaced and the bed made, but neither happened. I'm not stating that as a complaint though. Instead, I'm just offering the suggestion to let Stephanie know if something is needed. I'm 100% confident she'd take care of it for you. In our situation, I'd already mostly made the bed, and the bathmat on the floor was behind the bathroom door by the shower, so it's very possible that the housekeeper (not Stephanie) just thought nothing was needed. Whatever the case, we were still very content! Stephanie does alot to personalize everyone's visit. She asked us if we had any food allergies. We didnt have any but she made a veggie frittata so that there would be something for another guest who preferred not to eat meat. We were there two nights, so we enjoyed two wonderful breakfasts! While everything was delicious, my favorite was the homemade cranberry orange muffins. Our room was over the office, which I assume connected to her kitchen based on how the scent of freshly baked muffins came through the floor vents! Our room

The Penthouse Suite is amazing - beautifully updated but filled with antiques and paintings, large kitchen, separate living room, and a third floor deck! Stephanie is wonderful and provides a great breakfast, including gluten free on request. I highly recommend the Harbour Towne Inn.
