Highest rated hotel we have been to on our entire visit to Montana this summer. Hospitality was excellent and the customer service was outstanding! Everyone we encountered was willing to go that extra mile for us. Our room was fabulous, extremely comfortable bed and chairs to sit on. The shower was exhilarating and very clean. Then the biggest surprise was a menu breakfast was included. We had the Country Fried Steak with eggs and very crispy hash browns, and the sausage gravy was delicious. The Tex Mex Omelette tasted just like a Taco. The rye toast on both plates was fresh, thickly cut and just enough butter to enhance the flavor of the bread. We were very impressed with everything about our stay, even though we didn’t win in the ******. They had one area with smoking which was so disgusting, but we spent most of our time in the 2 other areas where there was no smoking.

The view from our room was fabulous. Make sure to try and request a River view. Loved the fact there was a ****** in the lobby and all the amenities. Highly recommend visiting if you are passing through Bonner’s Ferry, Idaho this was the best quick decision we made and thank goodness there was availability in the area. There is even an underground walk-through tunnel to ‘cross under the street’ with more access to other amenities including a Museum (it was closed by the time we arrived and departed). Check out Best Western Plus you will not be disappointed

We had a wonderful time in Bonners Ferry, Idaho! This Kootenai River hotel has excellent staff that cater to all your needs! We were lucky enough to receive an offer that almost made up for our VERY poor exchange rate of the Canadian dollar. The Springs restaurant is a definite “must” for your dining pleasure!!

Great Staff, Great Food and Great location. The Kootenai River Inn at Bonners Ferry is so relaxing. Their Spa is well staffed and proficient. The Riverside rooms have beautiful views of the Kootenai River! The Springs restaurant has excellent food. They have always had consistently great service over the years. I'm looking forward to my next stay!! Marty C.

Check-in by Heidi was very nice! We were in room 238, which was very clean and huge; I opted not to book a river view room (too bad, because the Northern Lights were spectacular); we had a desk, table with two chairs, a bench for luggage, a chair and a side table; the sink is outside the shower/toilet, which was very nice. The room had plenty out outlets, all amenities, including make-up remover and shower cap; we found the A/C to be loud and it didn't cool enough. The doors are extremely heavy and the ice cubes were lousy; we were delighted to see real coffee mugs and real glasses in the room (I very much dislike the plastic stuff). The included breakfast was wonderful; great service, yummy food and view of the river.

We enjoyed our getaway to Bonners Ferry, and loved our stay at the Best Western Plus, Kootenai River Inn and ******!! The beds are super comfortable and the Riverview rooms are definitely worth getting!! The staff are very friendly and the view of the Kootenai River is a wonder to experience!!!

Always a good time, mostly adults so most of the time quiet with comfortable access to pool. Love the the restaurant and room service is nice. The ****** is nice and small not loud like other places . I have only stayed in river rooms and love that you can see mother nature up close. Bring binoculars is a must.

A great place for a relaxing visit. Great room, friendly staff. And some fun in the ******. The ****** staff were pleasant and was great it was really nice to have a non smoking area in the ******! The food and service in the restaurant were excellent! A nice short walk to the downtown area for a look around town.
