This is an authentic French chateau. It is full of period fixtures and fittings with little regard to modernity.
The wonderful chatelaine, Natalie, is a hands on hostess who actively engages in conversation with her guests. If you want to experience a genuine chateau for a bargain price, then this is ideal. We will definitely stay whenever we are in the area. To experience the property, a minimum of two 1nights is necessary .

Nice chateau with charming host. The grounds are a pleasant surprise with all types of animals running around. Nice breakfast and cozy rooms at a decent price thats makes it all worth while. There is even a hot tub outside in a separate indoor area

Natalie and Oliver were wonderful hosts for our one night stay. I was traveling with a small group and we each had interesting rooms. I was the lucky one who got the two room suite with a very nice bath. The property is beautiful antique filled building and lovely grounds.

Used as a might stop over . Good value . Very old building . Beautiful surroundings and able to use kitchen too . Just Natalie very lovely !! Expect old world and antiques and we had the cheapest option room as not there long . Bed comfy , old fashioned bath in room , quaint but did but use .

On your way to the Deep South you will pass this hotel via the A20. It is an old castle and the rooms look quite antique. However, it is in all respects an extremely comfortable hotel with a beautiful huge garden and a view over it. The owner Nathalie does everything she can to make the stay of the guests as pleasant as possible. Breakfast takes place in the dining room at several large tables where you are placed with other guests. In our case we found that very pleasant. There are plenty of options in the vicinity for eating out. We didn't know the Limousin yet, but we definitely want to come back. Of course, Oradour-sur-Glâne is a place not to be missed. Finally, the presence of three sweet kittens at the castle. In short, a recommended stopover with a particularly good price-quality ratio.
