One of the most unique accomodation’s I’ve ever stayed at.
I did not know what to expect but had been eyeing the BaseCamp on previous trips to Bonn. This time I tried it and will come back for sure! Everything is very clean, the old train wagon and trailers in good shape and the breakfast a good buffet selection (including vegan and vegetarian options).

This place really blew our mind. It was unique and great experience. Even though we arrived late it was not the reason not to enjoy and the place. Jasper helped ua to do the check in. He was very accommodating and helpful. The van that we booked was good enough for 2 people. The washroom and shower area were clean. I highly recommend this place if you want a explore other things than usual stay in a hotel

Our family and friends stayed for 2 nights at Bonn Basecamp and it was one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. The first night we all camped in a little pop-up camper complete with a picket fence yard, lawn furniture and kids toys. The second night my friend stayed in the Marilyn Monroe trailer and our family stayed in a fishing-themed camper. The thought that went into creating such a unique place is amazing! We enjoyed their breakfast and just sitting on the balcony looking over the "campground". One of the best parts though was meeting new friends who became our traveling companions over the course of the next 2 weeks.

We wanted to spend a nice weekend in the tinny house. But that didn't happen. Right from the start we noticed that the tinny house was covered in dirt, hair everywhere from all kinds of visitors, and I don't even want to talk about the other dirt. We decided to cancel, told reception why, and all we got was a shrug of the shoulders: "You won't get any money back, you had a voucher." Dear people, that's not possible, we didn't want to get scabies there and then the lack of interest from the staff. We really thought we were in the wrong movie. Never again, what a pity about the voucher!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ich liebe es, im BaseCamp zu übernachten und suche mir immer wieder einen anderen Wohnwagen aus. Die Atmosphäre ist wunderschön. Alles ist sauber, Handtuch und Bettwäsche ist vorhanden. Sanitäre Anlage super. Freundlicher Empfang, Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit.

Bon concept. Le linge de lit et serviettes sont fournis. Très original, on fait un saut dans le temps. Douches chaudes, WC propres. Petit bemol pour le bruit quand on est près du salon de l'entrée. Les caravanes se ferment , donc secure. Bon esprit. Par contre parking extérieur réduit. Petits en cas et boisson à laccueil. Toute confiance. Chaleureux

Erlebnis-Übernachtung mit Camping-Retro-Feeling! Tolle Idee (Indoor-Campingplatz mit alten Wohn-/Eisenbahnwagen, Wohnmobilen, und sogar einer Seilbahngondel) bis in kleinste Details liebevoll umgesetzt, z. B. mit passenden Sitzgruppen vor den Themen-Wohnwagen und Dekorationen. Gemeinschaft-Sanitäranlagen (wie beim Camping üblich) sind sehr gut ausgestattet und sauber, im Toilettentrakt null Mief und viel Papiervorrat. Frühstück gibt es auf einer großen eingebauten Empore, auch hier originelle Gestaltungsdetails, es ist relativ einfach gehalten, aber absolut ausreichend (ich habe eigentlich nur gekochte Eier vermisst) und ordentlich präsentiert, auch wird immer wieder kontrolliert, ob etwas fehlt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Und zuletzt stimmt auch noch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis! Wenn ich nochmal eine Übernachtsmöglichkeit im Raum Bonn benötige, komme ich auf alle Fälle sehr gerne wieder! Tipp: Vor der Buchung checken, ob Platz- und "Komfort"-Angebot der gewählten Unterkunft auch den eigenen Ansprüchen und körperlichen Voraussetzungen entspricht. Zum Beispiel geht es in den alten Schlafwagenabteilen sehr eng zu, die Betten sind sehr schmal und bei Belegung mit 2 Personen muss einer sein Bett per Leiter erklimmen (so waren eben die alten Schlafwagen). Ich hatte das Abteil alleine gebucht, mir hat der Platz gereicht (bin "Dackelgarage" und Isomatte gewohnt). :-)
