Artcore Hotel Porto

Very nice, new hotel. Everything worked perfectly. Excellent ala carte breakfast for a very reasonable price. Location is convenient. Friendly staff.

I booked the Artcore Hotel in Porto before it even opened, so I was a little unsure what to expect. However, I travel a lot for work and stay in many hotels, and I was absolutely blown away by this one. The staff and facilities are exceptional for the price. The rooms are modern, very comfortable, and spotless. The location is excellent, around 18km from the airport and right in town, with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Hugo on reception was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The complimentary mini bar was a really nice touch, with a couple of beers, Coke, and plenty of water, and there were also fruit and sweets available at reception. The bar area had a relaxed, welcoming feel, and breakfast was simply sensational. For the price, it’s one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in, great value, excellent quality, and genuinely warm service. The pool wasn’t quite finished during our visit as the hotel had only recently opened, so I can’t review that part yet, but I hope to be back soon with work and will definitely book again. 10/10 – keep up the same standards and you’ll do very well.

My son and I spent 4 nights in this hotel and we were hugely impressed by - well, everything! In particular, it's no exaggeration to say that the staff were clearly genuinely very keen to provide an excellent service in everything they did, whether at Reception, at breakfast or at the bar. It's a brand new and very stylish hotel (as the name suggests) which is finished to a very high standard throughout. Our room was very well-appointed and absolutely spotless. There's an extensive selection of toiletries, full tea and coffee facilities (including a kettle and a coffee-machine) and a complimentary mini-bar which was replenished every day. Breakfast features fresh fruit, bread and pastries, cheeses and meats - all of which are brought to the table, after which choices are made from the Menu. These include granola, yoghurt and cooked items, including variations on eggs etc. Along with the fresh fruit juice and tea/coffee, it's a comprehensive offering - and the staff even ask if you want more! There's a small pool at the back of the hotel and some loungers. We enjoyed having a dip and a beer here late-afternoon when we'd returned from a day exploring Porto and Gaia, which are extremely attractive and photogenic. The hotel is situated very close to a Metro Station, affording easy links in all directions. All in all then, Art Core Hotel exceeded mt expectations. It seems to me to be excellent value for money and the extremely friendly, hospitable and efficient staff, as well as the art-based decor throughout, mean that this is one not to be missed. Exceptional.

Great hotel in a great city. Myself and my Dad had a wonderful 4 days. The reception staff and the waiters were absolutely delightful and their customer service is as good as we’ve seen. They were very warm, welcoming and knowledgable and we felt right at home from the start. The rooms were immaculate too with a very high standard of cleaning every day and were very well-appointed. The breakfast was fantastic value for money- you were given pastries, rolls fresh fruit, juice and tea and that’s before you ordered off the menu where you could get your choice of Greek yoghurt, omelette, pancakes etc! Our flight was early in our leaving day which meant we would have to leave before breakfast. They instead gave us a lovely little breakfast pack to take which was more than adequate. It was great to have a pool to have a dip in after a long day exploring in Porto . The hotel is very well-situated for a short walk in to the city centre and seconds away from Campo 24 Agosto metro station. This is place is brand -new and as such not every feature is yet available, but with the location, quality of hotel and the wonderful customer service and hospitality, I’m sure it’s going to be a great success. Thank you for a terrific stay and we’d love to come back one day. Would highly recommend for anyone coming to stay in the brilliant city of Porto!

Flawless experience, Relatively new hotel, the bar and spa are yet to open. From start to finish our experience was excellent. quirky decor and comfortable room with decent space, all very clean Breakfast was great Every member of staff were extremely friendly and helpful as well as well trained and very professional. Would be keen to stay again and would not hesitate in recommending it.
