Fairfield Inn & Suites Richmond Midlothian

Convenient location near I-95 and downtown Richmond. Praise for exceptional cleanliness, helpful staff, and complimentary breakfast with good variety. Clean, comfortable, and quiet rooms provide a pleasant stay.

Lobby and rooms clean, hotel appears to be fairly new. The front staff were friendly and cheerful. I was impressed with the complimentary hot breakfast - has healthy options but also waffle maker and some baked goods as well as eggs/breakfast meat. Shower was spacious and good water pressure. There is an indoor pool but it is small and suited only for kids. The hotel was quiet at night. The exercise room has a variety of cardio machines, and there is a set of dumbbells with a bench, but the cable machine was broken and just sitting there. There was no hotel bar or restaurant, but there are restaurants and grocery stores nearaby. I would certainly stay here again, and look forward to it.

My husband of 35 years and I were so fortunate to find that someone had canceled their reservation at this comfortable and clean hotel. Because of some type of children’s sporting event the weekend of October 18, this lovely Fairfield Inn was sold out until the last minute. This place is conveniently located near our family and a great Starbucks. The young woman on the evening shift (until 11 pm) who checked us in was very professional, friendly, and polite. On our second evening there, she saw me getting some hot water for tea in the lobby, greeted me by name, and asked if everything was going well. I’ll never forget her and wish her well. The young man who worked around the noon hour was fine although we didn’t merit a smile or much of a greeting each of the two days we saw him. He got the job done in a faintly aloof manner. Overall, staying at the Midlothian Fairfield Inn was a highlight of our road trip.
