Stumbled across the Bombah Eco cottages when searching for a romantic getaway location for my partners birthday - and what a tremendous find it was.! Location is the perfect balance of close enough to civilisation for any essentials you might need, yet when there makes you feel completed secluded in nature. Cottages are stunning in design, beautifully appointed and amazingly well maintained. Equipped with a wood fireplace and ample firewood, which is a must for any romantic weekend. Outside of the cottages, the other facilities provided were terrific - from the well stocked games room, to the plunge pool, to the orchard and chicken coop - which you are free to sample and use the produce from. Clint and Lauren were lovely hosts, and were on hand for any needs that arose. I’ve stayed in a handful of similar places, but highly recommend Bombah Eco cottages - it is second to none.

We were looking for something a little different and Bombah Point Eco Cottages didn't disappoint. Lauren and Clint went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. Little touches like fresh fruit and Lauren walking us to our room shows how far they go for their customers. The accommodation was clean and very well kept. The property is quiet with so many things to do. Thanks again for the great little get away Lauren.

everything about the cottage was fabulous. breakfast was absolutely amazing with beautiful fresh eggs and vegies. we managed to pick some fresh veggies to cook for dinner the 2nd night. we drove up to seal rocks and walked the the lighthouse then drove up to Forster for a feed of prawns by the water. on the way home we called into Nabiac hotel fot a nice cold ale. we are reasonably local to the area being only 1 hour away but in saying that my suggestion would be turn off the highway and go to Hawkes Nest and Tea Gardens, check out the area then head towards Mungo brush stopping off along the way at the tourist spots, amazing, beautiful stops. keep heading along the road till you get to the ferry and proceed across onto the ferry then head onto Bombah for an amazing stay. Thank you so very much to the team, great work. i won this 2 night stay for my 60th birthday. Deb Tanner

We had a fabulous stay at Bombah Cottages as part of our summer break. The cottages are gorgeous, big and spacious with a wonderful vibe. Loved the big deck with a bbq. They are well spaced so you have total privacy and can’t hear or see your neighbours. Lots of spots to relax: day bed in the master bedroom and a hammock on the deck. Kids loved the spa in the bathroom with the bath products. Pool was perfect and the kids loved being able to visit the chickens and collect eggs. A highlight was seeing a python and a large goanna. I loved morning runs down to the lake. Hosts were lovely.

Hosts (Lauren) were amazing, extremely helpful with plenty of tips of what to see in the area. Place itself was absolutely perfect, the location, beds, bathroom, everything. We will be coming soon again.

We never want to leave! What a special, magical place. The kids agreed this was our best holiday EVER. The cabin is beautifully appointed, every tiny detail carefully considered, light and airy and luxurious. Highlights included collecting eggs and herbs from the garden, bushwalking and having a picnic lunch on mossy boulders, chatting with our hosts, Lauren and Clint who are so warm, welcoming and passionate about this beautiful property and making our experience here really unforgettable, and our number one highlight – kayaking on the lake in the winter sunshine, watching the sea eagles soaring. Just, wow! We’ll be telling all our friends.

In July 2023, we had a three-day team planning retreat at Bombah Point Eco Cottages. It was the perfect place for it! We stayed in the cosy but spacious cabins with breath-taking views through large glass windows over the surrounding bushland. The cabins were tastefully decorated and well-appointed from the stylish and functional kitchens to the extremely comfortable and luxe bedding. Due to our busy work schedule, we didn’t get time to enjoy all that the cabins offered. I wished we could have had more time relaxing in front of the pot belly fire or luxuriating in the spa bath. We’ll just have to come back in a private capacity another time to enjoy those features! The breakfast hampers were generous and delicious, featuring lots of fresh garden produce. Our ever-helpful hosts organised catering to be delivered for lunch and dinner, and that was delicious and plentiful too. Each day our team gathered in the communal lounge area to do our work. It was the perfect space to do some serious planning, including focused conversations around the table, brainstorming on the white boards, and calling in other staff on Zoom using the in-house television screen. The wood fire made the space nice and cosy on those cold July days. The fabulous espresso machine kept the coffee flowing, and we enjoyed the warm sun on the veranda during break-out sessions. The team from Bombah Point Eco Cottages could not have been more friendly and accommodating, even organising a kayak trip and a team yoga session. I can thoroughly recommend this beautiful eco-friendly establishment as a brilliant place for your next team work retreat.

We spent a few days here which we booked six months in advance hoping to get the best cottage. Turns out you cannot pick which one but couples will be moved to the smaller one, to accommodate if larger family books later, even though you pay the exact same price. Being in the smallest is no problem at all, the host was lovely and helpful, the location has nice, nearby beach and access to swim in the lake all great. The cottage itself is really lovely, comfortable and decent inside. However a word of warning, none of them are overly private, you can see the other cottages from your cottage and you can hear the people talking at times. We ended up in number 3, definitely NOT a treehouse, it is on street level, with glass front and side and no blinds or shutters, so at night while watching TV everyone can see inside from the track, yes there are two tracks near the front and people walking past often, also get the odd car going past every now and then. Even the back deck can be seen from the front track, so it was quite difficult for a couple to relax and felt like we were in a fish bowl. This is definitely geared at families with small children and I can see how that would be good for them. For couples looking for a quiet getaway this is probably not the place.

We drove from Melbourne for our birthdays. When we reached the property we were welcomed by Lauren (owner). She was extremely polite, friendly n helpful. It felt like as if we are visiting a friend. Property is well equiped, clean and with beautiful views🌲🌴🏡. It feels like you are in a big tree house. We spend our first day exploring the 100 acre property with so many walking trails. Reception is with a clean pool, lounge and kitchen. My hubby enjoyed the complimentary brownies😋. We stayed 2 nites and wish we had stayed longer. I highly recommend this property. Thank you Lauren🙏 you are absolutely gorgeous. We’ll be back! Enjoy the pic🤳
