"Wonderful hotel!
Fast check-in, friendly reception staff. Upon request, they gave me a Bolzano guest card, which allowed me to travel free of charge on public transport. Very comfortable, clean room, well equipped, has everything you need for a stay of several days. The location of the hotel is excellent: close to the center, train and bus station. It is located on the main street with numerous shops and bars. I recommend it!"
"Great location! The hotel is located in the center of Bolzano City, within walking distance to Bolzano Railway Station, surrounded by restaurants and cafes. The room was clean and tidy, the staff was warm and thoughtful, and the price was super high!"
"It's close to train station. Staff at reception is helpful. However, the shower place is easy to get water leaked out. Need to use carefully.
The rest is good."
"The hotel is new and close to train station and major street. The room are nicely designed with comfortable bed. The breakfast is the greatest I had ever had. Would choose this hotel next time when I back to Bozen."
"This hotel is located near the Exhibition Center, offering convenient access to the highway and shopping malls, though it's not close to the city center. It was clean, and the staff were friendly, maintaining the typical standards of the hotel chain. The breakfast provided a good variety of sweet and savory options, consistent with what you'd expect from the chain. There's also ample free parking available. It's an excellent choice if you're visiting the commercial area or need a stopover while traveling along the A22 highway."
"Hotel Greif is a charming 4-star hotel with an excellent location, just a 5-minute walk from the train station. However, do note that the road leading to the hotel is a stone-paved street, which makes pulling luggage a bit challenging.
The check-in and check-out process was smooth, and we were pleasantly surprised when the reception allowed us to check in early at around 12 PM. However, we decided to leave our luggage and head out to explore the city first.
The room was very spacious and beautifully designed with artistic elements. After reading the hotel’s introduction, I discovered that each room was uniquely designed by a different artist, which made our stay feel even more special. The bathtub was a great addition, adding extra comfort to our stay.
Breakfast was impressive, offering a wide variety of high-quality options. A kind and attentive staff member also served hot food on demand, which enhanced the dining experience.
One downside was the shared sauna, which was open to all genders and not private, so we decided not to use it.
Additionally, there was only one USB port in the room, which made charging our devices a bit inconvenient, especially since we accidentally left our universal adapter at our previous hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel did not have any chargers available to borrow.
Overall, our stay at Hotel Greif was very enjoyable. Despite a few minor inconveniences, the excellent location, spacious rooms, and great service made it a memorable experience. We would definitely consider returning in the future."
"The hotel is very good, I was worried about the distance, but it was actually good. I didn't take the bus, navigated and walked over, and I could accept the distance. The hotel is clean and clean, there are supermarkets and fruit supermarkets at the door, there are many restaurants, and the taste is good. Give the bus card. Very Nice, will come again next time."
"The hotel staff is nice and good-looking. The breakfast is also of high quality. There is salmon when I went there. Toiletries need to be asked at the front desk. When I checked in, it should be that the reservation was out of stock. I was upgraded to a suite for free. It is very large"
"Over rated hotel. Not worth the 500 euros per night. Could easily find a hotel for less. Also when booking on this site, the algorithm booked my room for one month sooner. It was absolute hell getting this straightened out and charged me an additional 300 euro. So be wary!!!!"
"It should be a relatively old four-star hotel in the area, a 5-minute walk from the train station. The bus station ticket office is 200 meters away from the train station. The whole town is not big, and there are delicious German restaurants and ice cream shops in the central city. There is a swimming pool downstairs in the hotel, and the hotel restaurant has a large courtyard. Many people eat at night. There are many breakfast options, and I drink delicious cappuccino."

Amazing
MMark7777A lovely boutique hotel sitting in the centre of Bolzano. A great concept to transfer an old villa house to a modern living and entertaining complex, including bars, restaurants and hotels.
GGuest UserThe location is quite good, you can walk to the main attractions, the scenery outside the room window is good, the breakfast is simple but the quality is good, it is recommended to try a special drink. The service is quite good. Due to the failure of the rental vehicle, the front desk lady enthusiastically assisted in contacting the rental car dealership and took the initiative to write the vehicle reminder card. I will stay next time.
AAnonymous UserLovely traditional hotel and very helpful staff. 2-minute walk away from the Bolzano railway station. Very convenient for taking early train. The staff are very helpful. My rental car got a flat tire near the hotel and it's after office hour. The hotel staff made a lot of calls to finally find a tow truck to help me return the car to rental company. Really appreciate their efforts.
CClaire MWe choose to stay at Hotel Asterix, because our son who we were visiting lives close by in a dormitory, plus even though the price was still quite high, it was less than most of the hotels in the area.
We were greeted cordially when we arrived and generally, all staff was very friendly. At the reception area, there were many flyers introducing to-dos in the area, including a city map.
The room was quite small for three people, but sufficient and, what is always most important to me, it was very clean and the beds were comfy. The same goes for the bathroom - it was super clean and small, but despite that practical. Towels were provided as was the soap dispenser (hands, hair&body in the shower). For everything else, I guess, we could have asked, but there was no need for us - we always have our little travel version when on the way.
The room & bathroom were made up and cleaned everyday properly.
Altogether a pleasant stay!
Check-in hours are 17:00-23:00, check out 8:00-10:00; usually it wouldn't be very convenient for us - earlier check-in let's say starting 14:00) and later check-out (12:00) would be so much better - but this time, for once, it fit our travel plans perfectly, on arrival as well as at departure.
