It's about a 20-minute walk from the station. I think the service is OK, but the sound insulation is a bit poor and the key is a bit difficult to use. It's not just a matter of inserting the keyhole into it. It has to be aligned to a certain depth where there will be a latch, and you have to turn it to that depth before it can be used.

Centrally located hotel run by some friendly Chinese folks. Situated on the top floor of an old building. There's a small lift. Feels more like an old communal flat, than a hotel. About 10 rooms, 3 shared bathrooms. Everything is very old. Everything was clean and well maintained though. Triple room was very spacious. There was no wait for the bathrooms and they provide you with a hairdryer if you ask. Shampoo was in the single use packets, so recommend bringing your own. Breakfast was actually nice - only bad thing was the coffee from the coin machine (free for breakfeast), but pastries were fresh and of a good quality.

Friendly staff and nice location. Would not want to have to park car here. We had large room with private bathroom. Breakfast was not what I was expecting but this is Italy. Mostly just pastries and juice. We would stay here again.

We stayed here as a large family over New Year’s Eve. The rooms were generous and even though we had a shared bathroom, it suited us as we knew the others sharing it with us. Nice simple breakfast. Location was excellent as you can drop back if you ever get sick of eating! Would recommend.

The place had everything you would need. The only issue if any was the shared bathrooms. There was three bathrooms for the ten units. Wasn't an issue for us. Near loads of attractions within walking distance. The rooms were kept clean and the staff was very nice. I'd recommend

Excellent hotel for 40 years I have always been going to them, first with the old management now with the new even more cutting-edge management, a hotel with all the comforts especially cleanliness and kindness on the part of the staff. The owners are kind, helpful people who are very attentive to everything. you are practically at home, a stone's throw from Piazza Maggiore in the heart of Bologna.

Positive experience! Welcoming staff, all rooms clean, tidy and well heated, comfortable bed, delicious and assorted breakfast. The location is also appreciable because on foot you find yourself discovering the beautiful historic center of Bologna. Always on foot or as you prefer just two bus stops away (from via Ugo Bassi a stone's throw from the hotel) for a bit of relaxation I found well at the Terme di San Petronio.
