This hotel sits on the outskirts of Bologna so away from the busy city noise but near enough to either walk, cycle or take a bus in. We arrived early owing to our flight times and reception were happy for us to leave our baggage, get changed and head out. The rooms appear a little dated on first glance but quintessentially fitting with the area. There were no USB points so travel plugs are a must. The bathroom is large and the shower is good. Toiletries and towels are provided. There is also a hair dryer. The hotel accommodation area is quiet. Rooms are cleaned daily. There is a mini bar within a small fridge and safety deposit box. TV is available but free channels are limited. The staff are super friendly. Breakfast is typically continental and buffet style. There is an array of pastries, juice, tea and coffees. The pool is small but very clean and there are plenty of sunbeds. The Cafe bar is open for soft/hot drinks and alcoholic beverages. Plastic cups are given should you wish to stay by the pool. We didn't eat at the hotel so cannot comment on the restaurant. The only downside for us was we did bot realise this was also a conference centre. Breakfast was beseiged by delegates so super busy and noisy. Breakfast was not a relaxing exerience for other guests. Similarly, delegate dining was alongside the main bar area so we went out to avoid the noise (and smoke). Points.of note: A walk to the centre of Bologna is 4km but well worth doing The number 20 bus will take you there. Out of the hotel turn right. Cross over the main road and you will see the bus stop. Bring travel plugs. There are no USB points. Mosquitoes are prevalent in the evening. To avoid being their 3 course meal bring spray etc. Taxi from airport is approximately €20 I will post another review about a super traditional restaurant we came across which offered amazing food at a fraction of the price. All in all a lovely stay. We would stay again.
