6月9日下午坐火車到了烏魯木齊站，轉天開始了時隔五年為期近一個月的第二次新疆之旅，衹不過第一次新疆之行時是坐火車的自助遊，這次則是採取了租車自駕遊的方式，主要的目的地是第一次新疆之行時沒有去的地方如可可託海、獨庫公路、伊昭公路、沙漠公路、庫車市、博斯騰湖、唐布拉草原、鞏乃斯草原、庫爾德寧、恰西草原、瓊庫什台，也會去伊寧市、果子溝、賽里木湖、喀拉峻草原、那拉提草原、巴音布魯克草原故地重遊。在遊覽完可可託海景區後經過北屯市和福海縣到達獨庫公路的北端起點克拉瑪依市的獨山子區，完成了此次新疆之旅三個封閉環線中的第一個北疆逆時針環線的旅程後就開始了第二個順時針環線即伊犁地區各個景點的遊覽。在從昭蘇縣走伊昭公路到達伊寧市後轉天遊覽了賽里木湖後再次回到了獨山子區，順利完成了本次新疆之旅三個封閉環線的第二個環線的行程後，再次走獨庫公路開始了第三個環線也是最後一個環線的行程。在那拉提鎮住宿了三個晚上後，又在鞏乃斯和巴音布魯克鎮各住宿了一個晚上，之後終於走完了獨庫公路的全部里程來到了獨庫公路的終點站庫車市。從庫車市開始了本次新疆之旅南疆部分也是最後的旅程，在庫車市住宿了兩個晚上後，在遊覽了塔里木胡楊林後趕到了博湖縣住宿，以便轉天去遊覽著名的博斯騰湖。該酒店應該新建不久，包括電梯在內的各種設施齊全（全國很多縣城的酒店賓館沒有電梯），房間乾淨整潔，不到兩百元的價格也很實惠（無早餐），周圍吃飯和吃早餐的地方也很多。
