Hotel was in the perfect location close to all big shopping centres and another plus was it was very clean. Room service was always top standard and consistent however it was big let down that the hotel didn’t communicate the spa/pool pictured was not available during the whole of my stay. If I’m not mistaken it should be clearly communicated to guests prior to accepting bookings if the included amenities are unavailable especially if for long periods. In addition, if the spa is unavailable the lift and level to the spa should be unavailable for guests to swipe to that level.. I went to inspect it (not knowing it’s being renovated) and got stuck on the level as there are no buttons to go back up..
Highly recommended however, it would be nice if the hotel was a bit more mindful with regarding the communicating to guests about renovation of spa and how long it’s being fixed + not allow access down to that level if there is no way back up

This is a great place for a basic stay. The breakfast is good. There is plenty of hot water, which you need in a chilly place like BOG. There is a little table with a couple of stools if you want to eat in your room. The bed is fine and so is the bathroom. The cleaning staff works hard. There is a TV that had CNN in Spanish, which I enjoyed. The area is good, near Chapinero. There is no safe in the room, but there are cameras in the hallway, and the reception will store your valuables. I don't know why anyone would ever complain about this place. Yes, the rooms are small, but it is a budget hotel. Perfect for sleeping, showering, and resting. It is clean and quiet too. It is by a hospital so no loud bars at night. I stayed in room 926 which was great. It was on a high floor room, and on the side of the building with an incredible view of the city, as the hotel is perched on a hill. AMAZING VIEW. The front desk is hardworking and friendly. The only downsides. I think there is central climate control. No thermostat in the room and no A/C in the room. No phone in the room so you need to personally go downstairs for anything. Also, the internet sometimes cut out. So someone coming to see me was trying to call me and the internet had cut out. Also, the internet would cut out and I would have to reconnect on my own when going from my room to the lobby. I knew it was a budget hotel with a small room so I knew there would be no fridge.

This hotel and staff were the most kind, courteous, helpful, clean and family oriented - I mean they make you feel like family! I have spent many nights in hotels because of my line of business in real estate and I have NEVER loved a hotel experience like my ten days at this hotel. I never write reviews, good or bad. You cannot go wrong here. Tourists will understand when I say that feeling safe is a must, especially in another country. In the room there was a personalized safe to keep your valuables secure and the staff NEVER enter your room unless directed by guests. The rooms are spotless and fresh smelling, the staff is the hardest working, going beyond with every request - completely and always. This hotel was also the cleanest and best stocked with any amenity needed. My partner and I enjoyed the sanitized saunas, jacuzzis and gym - permitting us to create special long lasting memories! Come to Bogota and stay at this hotel; you will thank me. ＜3 We hope to stay here again, very soon. The best thing about this property is its proximity to the airport. For a 1 night stay it is perfect. Free shuttle included, however you should go to the 2nd floor door nr 5 to find a lady there with the hotel sign. This was a more than solid hotel in many ways. The rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable with an ultra modern bathroom. The building was attractive and in a good location. The breakfast was fantastic! The staff was extremely helpful as well. Only cons were some of the floor boards in the halls and doors showed signs of wear and they will need updating. The other con is the reservation thing to use any of the facility such as pool and gym. This is just silly and inconvenient to the guest. It’s pure theater. Overall, i highly recommend.

Every time I go to Bogota, I always choose SONESTA Hotel. Because of its convenience, there is a large supermarket Exitro across the road. There are many restaurants on the third floor of the supermarket. It is convenient to eat and the public security around the hotel is OK. Breakfast is on the 3rd floor. The hotel's facilities are still very complete, remember to choose the room number ending in 33-38, so that the room has a good view and will not be blocked! Hotel located between Bogota and Cota in the heart of a large industrial area and the facts are indicated for those who travel to Bogota for work and not for tourism because because of traffic it is very challenging in terms of time to reach the center. The hotel is ideally located in the heart of the city, and is very comfortable and comfortable. The hotel is a little noisy and for this, I advise the high floors. I was the second floor and asked to be moved to the 5th floor. There is nothing in the area but a small shop and to move it is compulsory to use taxis that are not always easy to get.

Good quality hotel for the price. The customer service people were very nice, and can speak some English. The rooms are spacious, with fridge, snack bar, free bottle of water, and really love how comfy the bed is. GGuest UserGHL Capital Hotel is a boutique hotel located in the heart of a bustling city. It has won the favor of many tourists with its excellent service and facilities. The hotel has a superior geographical location and convenient transportation, and is surrounded by many commercial districts and tourist attractions.
The hotel rooms are spacious, bright, well-equipped, comfortable and warm. The beds are soft and comfortable, allowing for a good night's sleep. The bathroom facilities are luxurious and provide high-quality toiletries and towels.
The hotel's service is also very attentive, and the staff are warm and friendly, providing guests with personalized service. The hotel's business center and travel desk also provide a wealth of services and assistance.
In short, GHL Capital Hotel is a very good hotel, very suitable for business trips or vacations.

DDavidA very nice short-term apartment stay in a wonderful neighborhood of Bogota, with lots of amazing restaurants and cafes within walking distance. And if you like nightlife, there is much nearby in Chapinero. The kitchen comes with all the dishes and appliances you need if you wish to cook your own meals. The room was beautiful and comfortable, with great city views. The bathroom however was very small and cramped, there was a leak in the sink, and the shower overflows onto the bathroom floor if you take long showers. The accomodation and service are a bit expensive for what you get, compared to some others in the area.

GGuest UserThis is where you want to stay while in Bogotá . Three things stood out immediately: exceptional staff; outstanding breakfast; perfect location. I have stated in previous reviews that to me a building is just a building until you add the staff. How these employees act and relate to you as a guest make all the difference in the world. Edgar is the head waiter at breakfast and makes you feel like a long time friend as soon as you sit down. The front desk staff were very patient with me and my poor spanish yet they manage to help with each query I had. There are a number of fine restaurants in the coutyard and a huge shopping mall a short 10 minute walk away. Our overall experience was a resounding YES, STAY HERE. *****

GGuest UserGood •Good breakfast. They made us a vegan breakfast, even when they don't normally offer vegan options; but it was the same every day. •Cleaning and daily amenities. (Although in the ”cons” I detail the issue of cleaning) •Excellent service. All the staff are more than helpful and resolutive. •The Internet connection is good and stable. We were working 8 hours a day and we had no problems. ATTENTION HERE because we asked to change a room with a better view and when they changed us, there was no internet, so we had to go back to where we were before. So, keep in mind that there are apartments with no Wi-Fi. •24h reception •Very quiet. There's no noise. This gave us a lot of quality of life and more coming from the noise hell that there was in the accommodation in Playa del Carmen. •Spacious. Enough space for storage and put the suitcases. •Good workspace. (desk and confortable chair) •Spa. However, there are restrictions to use the spa Bad: •The kitchen has less than the basics and that is a problem if you expect to cook during your stay because, even if you complain, they will not be able to bring you everything you need. In my case, for example, I needed a pasta strainer, bowls and a good knife and they said they didn't have them. •The gym is small and does not have much. •The apartments are cold and don’t have heating. The only way they solve it is by giving you a blanket. •Regarding cleanliness: I do not like that the floor of the room is covered by a carpet; also, the carpet was completely disgusting. In addition, the utensils they used to clean were more dirty than clean. The surfaces and the bathroom were always very clean, but the floors were not. It is very important to take care of cleaning, disinfection and vacuuming very well, especially when the accommodation accepts pets and considering that we are still living in a pandemic. In conclusion, we had a good stay although perhaps I would recommend it more for a short stay. By the end I was already a bit upset by the carpet and the little glitches. But for the offer that there is and the quality / price ratio that you can find, it is not bad. What is certain is that the hotel would gain a lot of potential if it remodeled the apartments (I think it needs urgent restoration).

GGuest UserThis hotel is of the PEOR, is located in one of the best areas of the city of Bogota, but I felt in a hotel in the center of Bogota, there is no cellularity there is not enough staff to provide services, One of the buttons has been working for more than 24 hours, the receptionist does not know customer service, the pessimism breakfast, have an old man attending all tables and almost no hears and the most absurd is that we ask you to prepare some eggs and the The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. MMileKruminaI stayed at this hotel with my mom. It’s really close to the airport and a few blocks from “El campin stadium” transmilenio station. Also a shopping mall is a few meters away. I stayed on a Wednesday so there wasn’t much music but I can see how it can be quite loud during the weekends as there are many clubs near by. The breakfast was good and the room was okay. I must say that this hotel feels more like a motel or bed and breakfast as it is extremely basic. No decorations or any living areas that are inviting so it’s good just for a night or two but not for a holiday. There isn’t any elevator and no men that can carry your luggage so my mom carried my suitcase up to the third floor and the receptionist and I carried the big luggage up to the room. The water pressure is great and the hotel has hot water. Also there is satellite tv with options in English and Spanish. I have no idea if the hotel staff speaks English or not as I speak spanish. Overall it was good as the area is safe and close to most places I wanted to go like Monserrate.

GGuest UserDicen tener parqueadero pero no es así, piden dejar las llaves ( pero eso no lo deberían hacer ya que si le pasa algo al carro nadie responde porque no se hicenron las verificaciones, etc) , y por lo menos en mi caso, que pague para descansar a las 5am me estaban tocando la puerta para que moviera el carro y habiendo llegado a media noche, quiere decir que NO descanse y la plática que me pagué para descansar se perdió, y por otra parte los empleados son muy toscos y rayan en lo grosero para decir las cosas, en otras palabras DEFINITIVAMENTE NO ES LA OPCION SI SE VIAJA EN CARRO, QUIERES BUEN TRATO Y QUIERES DESCASAR.
