To access the hotel in the Zona Framca you have to go through a security checkpoint which is manned by unhelpful and unfriendly personnel. The area is difficult for a taxi to get to and a number of Uber drivers cancelled on us. The alternative is to use the very expensive taxi that the hotel can arrange. Also there is no free shuttle to the airport but the reception can arrange a taxi (also expensive but probably advisable at night). Otherwise the hotel itself is fine but next time I would pay more for an airport hotel.

There was no water at all, then when the water is back, there Was not hot water. Nobody told us in advance - not when we booked the room (3 hours only before our arrival), & even worst - when we checked in. Except of one person, nobody understand English. It’s not close at all to the airport (it took us 30 min). The location in a center of industrial zone. I’m really sorry that I didn’t pay more for a better hotel, service & location😏👎🏻

Terrible hotel. 1. The Checking process took a very long time, about 35 minutes, we were already tired from a long day and just wanted to relax. There was nobody else there and no reason why it should take 35 minutes to Checkin. 2. After we got settle we wanted to take a shower and sleep early as we had to get up 3:45 to leave for the airport at 4am. However we soon found the Shower not working. Only a little drip of water came out. We went to the front desk and then found out it was known issue and the water was shut down from 15:00 to 18:00 It actually started working again only at 19:00 3. When we went to have dinner in the restaurant they didn’t have bottles of water at all.

Two issues with the hotel. 1. The Checking process took a very long time, about 15 minutes, we were already tired from a long day and just wanted to relax. There was nobody else there and no reason why it should take 15 minutes to Checkin. 2. After we got settle we wanted to take a shower and sleep early as we had to get up 3:45 to leave for the airport at 4am. However we soon found the Shower not working. Only a little drip of water came out. I made a video of it also. I called the front desk Call 1 mention shower is broken Said maintenance will look at it. No call back and nobody showed up Call 2 mention we already called shower broke Said they will try to solve it in 10 min No call back Call 3 I mentioned we might as well move to another hotel as this is unacceptable and we need our shower. We have an early flight it has been almost an hour we already should be asleep Now they answered and gave us the room across to use for the shower The whole experience just did not leave a good impression with us and we would not choose this location again unless something changes.

This is a business hotel, room was good, comfortable and the service provided by the staff was top…the only negative is that it is too far from the airport (during peak hours) The restaurant on premise had some good dining options at reasonable prices

Urban concept not very organized !! Booked in bookings and after check in (late at night) they forgot to charge the room and had to go back to the front desk. Not organized !!! Low quality Restaurant, couple of lost servers , but hey I guess if what you get for the rate. Rooms are clean. Bathroom decent sized and clean also. You get the basics for the bucks.

Horrible location, no shuttle and scheduling the shuttle to go back to the airport cost $30,000 pesos. security gate won't let you come in or Uber through to pick you up with your luggage. Shower water wouldn't drain, standing in dirty water, terrible location, went through dangerous neighborhoods in the way to the hotel from the airport. Absolutely zero service, no food, not even water or drinks after a certain time every day. No heating nor air conditioning system at all

Service of the staff was poor: if you enter the hotel they won't even look at you. They first finish what they are doing on their computer for a few minutes. And not just one time, but each time you are there with a question or something. Not with just one person, but all the three persons who were working while we were there. Big disinterest towards customers. -Bed and shower was good, breakfast was okay. -Taxi service from hotel to airport was good. It is around 20/30 minutes, depending on traffic. Car waits at the front of the hotel and you pay 30.000 pesos (that is around 7 euro). -Service of the hotel is poor, service of the restaurant staff (breakfast and dinner) is friendly and good. Cleaners are friendly as well. Their Wifi did not work on my phone, and I came to ask if they would have a solution (after minutes of waiting because they were staring at their computer). They won't even try to act if they care, just tell shortly that the Wifi works on their phone. Best example of worst service I ever had in a hotel.

Used this airport to get my head down and freshen up on a layover. About a 15 minute taxi, 80,000 pesos. Staff very friendly, room clean. Next to local shop for supplies. Only downside is as it is in the Zone Franca your taxi driver needs to explain who you are and if you go for a walk similarly there is some explaining that you are a hotel guest. Gym small but has what someone would need. Breakfast was good but a case of being brought food - may be challenging if you have dietary requirements.

I stay in mostly budget hotels in California. I freaking love this hotel - the cleanliness was impeccable and the service was unreal. Staff was super polite, very helpful and friendly. Inside the Zona Franca so it was very secure, walked late at night to go to the ATM, no concerns at all. I can't say enough about the staff at this hotel - any service business should travel to this hotel and see how it's done. Very very happy with my stay. I guess it's expensive by Colombian standards, the prices in Colombia for everything take getting used to when you're using dollars, everything is so inexpensive.

I absolutely love the Scandinavian modern decor. The clean lines, lots of unpainted wood furniture and accents was great. The hotel's cleanliness, comfort and helpful staff made me so pleased with the decision to stay here. The hotel is is a relatively close, 30 minute drive to the airport.

This hotel is located in a special free trade zone. It is surrounded by two security fences, the first one being electrified. The entrance is blocked by a high metal gate and a crossbar. From the outside it has a prision feel. When we arrived by taxi an armed guard radioed my name to the hotel. After confirming my reservation, the guard had the taxi driver open the trunk, he checked the trunk and we were allowed to enter the area. This process was repeated when we left the area to go to dinner. The taxi was stopped, the trunk checked and we were allowed to exit. There were no people in the area, only a lot of semi trucks and industrial buildings. We arrived at the hotel, were greeted and checked in which was quick and easy. The hotel lobby is nice with seating and a foosball table, but other than the clerk at the smallish front desk, there were no other people. Once we arrived on the floor where our room was the hallway was dark. As you walked down the hallway the lights would automatically come on zone by zone. The problem with this was by the time we reached out room, it was still in the dark. The room was small, very small. It was painted stark white floor to ceiling with just one small painting on one wall. There is no closet, no coffee maker, no refrigerator. There were no AC/heat controls. The window which did not open was filthy. The room immediately felt stuffy. The bathroom was OK, but rather than having individual shampoo and soap in the shower, there were pump bottles attached to the shower wall. I am not sure how many people handled these before my arrival but in this day of COVID I would have much preferred individual bottles of shampoo and bars of soap. The double bed was OK. The nightstands which were really just shelves attached to the wall were tiny, so much so that in order to put my bottle of water and mobile phone on it, I had to put the telephone on the floor as there was not enough room. Because of the lack of ventilation and the stuffiness it was difficult to sleep, so much so that in the middle of the night, I propped the door open with a towel so I could get some air in the room. There is a breakfast buffet set up but there was no buffet breakfast. It seemed we were the only people in the hotel, the front desk clerk, who doubled as the waiter, took our order for breakfast, disappeared into the back, and a few minutes later came out with the breakfast. I suspect he was also the cook, as I never saw any other workers in the hotel. I suppose if you have to stay in this free trade zone, this hotel will work for you, but otherwise I see no reason to stay here.
