Usaquen Station Hostel

This place was quite a dissapointment starting with the owner how he treats guests. He orignally gave me a good discount and said the room I wanted was available - private room. Then when I went to formalise the reservation he told me the 2 private rooms available just "happened to get booked out 5 minutes ago" BS. he simply wanted to keep those rooms open to couples. When I check in a very nice volunteer from Chile made me feel very welcome. If only I had to deal with her it would have beeen perfect. She showed me all rooms available and turns out the private rooms were free! Then II was told the discount only in Cash - just missed that slight detail ey?/ I was put in a 6 room dorm for myself but ended up hitting my head every 5 minuts as beds so low and had to use all the blankets from all 6 beds otherwise would have frozen. The toilet too very below standard, never ever paper towel or soap even though they said they will put it - again ALL TALK, and the shower OMG if you want to burn alive showere here!!! water (and not much ) either EXTREMELY HOT (no joke) or cold. It was a nightmare. Lasty and very importantly the owner and the cleaner were always whispering and talkina about the guests and make it feel that the kitchen was for them number 1 and the guests 2nd. Every time I went to use the kichen the maid was in there and would make faces knowing I needed to use it. Never in my life been to a hostel where the maid is in the way! The owners di not care. Will not stay here again due to the rudeness and DISHONESTY of the owner who I will also add waas very nosey about my life and did not respect my privacy or willingness to interact with him as he was not a honest person and liked to CHISMOSEAR! Ps. All these 5 star review - I am sure half of them are fake as this is not a warm atmosphere hostel at all, more like a sterile hospital with poor facilities and cold hosts - except for the volunteer!
