The hotel is very close to the airport, it is a good option if you need to make connections from one day to another, staff attention is excellent, is located in a very quiet area, make daily amenities, WiFi is good. The room was very small, it was almost occupied by bed, breakfast options were quite limited, only eggs or sandwich, away from tourist sites.

This place is terrible! We arrived at 2:40 pm and waited till 3:40 to get in our room! Sat at the bar and had to get the guys attention, I WAS THE ONLY PERSON seated at the bar! We arrived back at hotel at 10:00 and wanted to eat, Restaurant closes at 11, Tables were available but we were told to sit in the lounge and say 2 other couples sitting in the lounge VISIBLY upset because they have been waiting so long to get there table! I was pissed and called over a employee that sat us there, She proceeded to give us some BS that tables weren’t clean etc, I told her “BS” mind you I speak perfect Spanish / Latin and live in Medellin. She then gave us a table. Remember the 2 separate couples awaiting in front of us? Well, they were PISSED off and obviously upset that they hadn’t even received their drinks yet. WE JUST GOT UP AND LEFT and ordered Burger King from Rappi! TERRIBLE!!!! Best to stay at a REAL Hotel like the Hilton Conferías! They know customer service and deserve our money and outstanding reviews.

(Although in the ”cons” I detail the issue of cleaning) •Excellent service. All the staff are more than helpful and resolutive. •The Internet connection is good and stable. We were working 8 hours a day and we had no problems. ATTENTION HERE because we asked to change a room with a better view and when they changed us, there was no internet, so we had to go back to where we were before. So, keep in mind that there are apartments with no Wi-Fi. •24h reception •Very quiet. There's no noise. This gave us a lot of quality of life and more coming from the noise hell that there was in the accommodation in Playa del Carmen. •Spacious. Enough space for storage and put the suitcases. •Good workspace. (desk and confortable chair) •Spa. However, there are restrictions to use the spa Bad: •The kitchen has less than the basics and that is a problem if you expect to cook during your stay because, even if you complain, they will not be able to bring you everything you need. In conclusion, we had a good stay although perhaps I would recommend it more for a short stay. By the end I was already a bit upset by the carpet and the little glitches. But for the offer that there is and the quality / price ratio that you can find, it is not bad. What is certain is that the hotel would gain a lot of potential if it remodeled the apartments (I think it needs urgent restoration).

My second time staying at an Ibis; LOVE these properties. The rooms are very basic but you'll have what you need. The property is fun and stylish, staff was helpful (including arranging midnight airport transportation for us) and there's a full service bar and restaurant. The breakfast buffet has an amazing selection of dishes; I wish hotels in the US offered breakfasts like this! The National Museum right across the street is well worth a visit and you're a short drive to Monserrate and Candelaria.

We stayed 2 nights and were very happy with the hotel. Location for a visit to the tourist hotspots is excellent. They are all at walking distance from the hotel. Shops and restaurants are almost at the door. You can easily walk to the cablecar for Monserrate and to the Casa Museo Quinta de Bolivar. La Candelaria is very close to the hotel. Plaza de Bolivar, Museo del Oro, Museo Botero... all at a short walk. Remember that the museums are free on sundays. The hotel is modern with a nice room with all the comfort you need, minifridge, tea and coffee, safe... Everything very clean. Good breakfastbuffet. We had no problem with the system of entering or leaving the hotel. It worked all well. Recommended.
