The Highland Park Resort Hotel Bogor

Tamansari|1.19km from Nangka Waterfall
Early New Year put yourself on vacation to HPR, Cimos Bogor. Interested in addition to being close to tourist attractions (Curug Nangka, Curug Leaves, etc.), but the resort also provides interesting entertainment (especially for children of course), so we booked a Mongolian room - deluxe for 2 nights & got a unique room, a room with a Semi permanent ( tent & concrete) with adequate facilities (hot water, sofa bed, heater, refrigerator, etc.). From his staff information there are a different room type: - Mongolia Standard - Mongolia Superior - Mongolia Deluxe (where we stay) - Wood/wood cabin - Apache Standard Usually 4 types above location quite close to lobby & pool, It's a short walk to the main location ( lobby, retreat, etc.). It's a bit far to Apache, but it's provided by HPR. For those who come with large groups/family, there seems to be a ”Brough” type for Apache & Mongolians. For the entertainment facilities in this resort is quite a lot, free & paid. They are swimming pools, playground, basketball & futbal fields, game room (table tennis, billboards), etc. But if you want to add more experience for kids, you can try archery, paintball, flyingfox, mini golf, driving range, paid horse riding (little bit pricey though). One of the interesting things at night there was a fire in front of the PHR's tavern with free kids games (mini golf, ring toss, bottle game) & screaming for these little games. These are a gift voucher! The dinner menu is also good, the breakfast is quite complete & delicious, the dinner menu is also good (paid) with reasonable price (1 for 4). One of our interesting notes is the conversation with HPR employees, which explains HPR's development, as well as the attitude of HPR's owner is very tolerant, disciplined & very social. Respect!!! That story will remain with us. Had fun, cozy sleep, nice adventure & inspiring stories. Hope be back when this place has expended.

It was important for me to experience true Javian culture and to know that I was supporting local people, this stay did exactly that. Rachman and Rumsih have a beautiful home here in the mountains which they and their family welcome you to with open arms. Whether you want to explore Kawu Ratu, taste and learn how to cook delicious Indonesian cuisine, immerse yourself in village life and culture or just relax, this is the place to come. We easily hired a moped from Bogor and had the best adventure just getting to De Salek Homestay. Once there, there were incredible views, clean rooms, a pool to cool off in and the option to take a tour up to the volcano crater, dip in cool waterfall pools as well as geothermal pools. Cooking with Rumsih was a highlight. If you do just one trip in West Java, this is the one. Terimakashi Rachman and family 🙏 E: rachmantravel@rocketmail.com FB: Rachman Javaan Reizen

Went here with my kids and nephew and they gave us a room downhill. We have to walk the stairs to reach the restaurant and the phone signal was really weak. There was a storm during our stay and the hotel staff being attentive and all BUT it was really hard to get a food there. We couldn't call the restaurant and had to climb stairs in the middle of the storm to order some dinner. Breakfast was really poor. But if you looking for a nature experience, then this one is for you. Oh the tent really hot during the day, specially when the sun is shinning.

I feel that this place is no longer down, the yard is large, there are not many houses, each room is large, but the facilities are simple, there are no tourists, there is a housekeeper who looks at the courtyard as old as me, in my 50s. No one cooks, so I have to eat outside. There is a roadside stall outside. Look at the photos. The roadside stall aunt two kilometers away is good. Finally, I got a hot meal and changed a lot of change for me. The change is coming from her live daughter. The change helped me a lot later, so it was convenient to tip. The king of the bathroom is the ants, very many. To die these ants, it is estimated that many drugs will be used, so it is allowed to do. The slope at the gate was narrow and steep. If the car didn't rush up, it was easy to get back into the ditch. Fortunately, two people helped me with the rock and gave some tips, so be careful.
