The Aegean Gate Hotel

This is not a hotel but a second-class AirB&B. See picture of the entrance of the so-called "hotel" ! It took us half-an-hour to find the place simply because it is not known as an hotel. Then nobody at reception at 8 pm, and no note left to provide us with the basic information. We had to ask a neighbour to call for us to find out how to get in the property and what room was assigned to us ! The unit is ill-furnished and not properly maintained: broken wooden table on the terrace, no light in the bathroom, no A/C in the bedroom. We left at 10 am the next day and did not get to see anybody either, except the housemaid. Yes, it is only 700 m (!) from the sea but it's a very winding and very steep walk. Charging 126 euros for the night is outrageous. Given all this, how can this be the 3rd best hotel in Bodrum ??? This is a joke !!!

Beautiful clean and simple rooms with lots of natural light. The host was so nice and helped me organize a taxi as well as gave me lots of recommendations for things around Bodrum. I loved the location because it was beautiful and quiet. I would definitely stay here again!

Haftasonu girdiğimiz otelden cuma günü çok memnun şekilde ayrıldık. Bodrum için konumu şahane, sabah uyandığınızda muhteşem bir deniz manzarası sizi karşılıyor. Bahçesi çok özenle düzenlenmiş huzur köşesi gibi. Mutlaka bir akşamınızı manzara eşliğinde bahçede geçirmelisiniz. Otele ilk adım attığımız anda bizi ilgiyle karşılayan ve bodrum hakkında sıfır bilgisi olan misafirler için özenle önerdiği mekanlar için enerjisi çok iyi olan Yiğit beye teşekkür ederiz. Evinizde hissedeceğiniz, evcil hayvan dostu, temiz, sessiz, huzurlu bir tatil arayışında olanlar için mutlaka ziyaret edilmesi gereken bir işletme.

5 gün boyunca kaldığımız bodrumda en keyif aldığımız zamanlar aegaen otelde geçti :) Odaların temizliği manzarası eksiksiz bir şekilde içerisinde herşeyin bulunması ve havuzun güzelliği muazzamdı. Misafirperverliği için Yiğit beye çok teşekkür ediyorum.

Wow! Great place to be when I was in Bodrum. We went as a couple and enjoyed our stay. Cozy hotel, with a great view, and very helpful staff. The location is close to the city center, if you don't have a car also no problem because close to public transportation. The breakfast they serve is delicious. Very friendly and kind staff make you comfortable at any time. The rooms were clean and good for two people. Next visit I'll be here!!

Great location, amazing atmosphere and view! Stuff was so friendly, loved it. Great first impressions of the hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. Food was good, great value for money, and service was attentive + efficient. I was very pleased with my stay and I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future
