Diamond of Bodrum

So we stayed 4 nights all exclusive. weather outside 32C got to the hotel views are amazing reception area good chill out on the big sofas but it wasn't that cool in reception ie temperature so I thought okay I'll go to our bedroom stick on the Aircon the bedroom was small thinking double bed obviously for a couple but 2 small beds joined to together and let's get to the aircon most people have read the last 3 months reviews on TripAdvisor aircon not working called the technician four times still blowing hot air obviously the Hotel knows about it going by Tripadvisor reviews I was there and so many people were complaining to their holiday reps mine was Loveholidays so I spoke to them about my issues all they were concerned about was buying excursions and not about their client the reps were not allowed to go down to our room to have a look which is odd since they represent us the holiday maker and the food every 2 days were the same and never piping hot I think the food mostly they cater for Polish and Russian and not the English and the alcohol drinks or water down so if you're thinking of going all exclusive DONT..‼️❌the swimming pool area is clean and the pool there is one restaurant outside next to the pool and a bar and the bar closes 12AM and if you wanna pick up towels 7am you get three cards when you check into your hotel one card is for your door the other two cards are for your towels when returning your towels you get the two cards back so walking around the town buying stuff haggling prices were okay monster energy drink 50 to 70 Turkish liras and there is a lovely restaurant next to the hotel called Victoria pizza the food is very nice and very good prices best thing about the Hotel are the views and the beauty spa treatment which I'll put pictures up if you go straight down to speak to them you'll get ripped off on the prices it could be €140 euros but if you speak to a nice guy near the pool who's advertising the spa he will sort you out €50. euros. So big price drop. this hotel is not five stars. it's three stars. So got back home. Claiming compensation from the love holiday see how that one goes every review done Hotel supervisor will say love for you to come back to our hotel next time and the Aircon is working that's what you always says and no staff speaks English good luck on that one WiFi is ok

This hotel was lovely.. amazing views, stunning beach and cute markets. Restaurants and live bars in walking distance with the nightlife and marina not far. All Staff were amazing! Mesut and Berke at reception was incredible!! So helpful. Lots of food choices also. Will be coming again !!!! Thank you Dimond of Bodrum.

just spent 11 nights at this hotel firstly the good stuff great view some friendly staff (some only friendly after getting a tip ie 7th floor) sixth floor bar staff were brilliant, also water available in fridges around the hotel. Now for the rest rooms not great photos will be uploaded balcony very small and seats uncomfortable, maid came to room amd came in even if do not disturb was on the door. Food absolutely diabolocal do not cater for british. Food cold, went to breakfast twice and only thing for me was cold fried egg so stopped going. Mashed potato EVERY DAY AND NIGHT at lunch and dinner ( i used to love mash not any more) cold chips every day along with grilled meat i have no clue which kind of meat as was not specified also cold skin on with bones for good measure fish EVERY DAY AND NIGHT. A la arte restaraumt served some not bad food most days which helped at lunch time only. Dinner time a la carte was sea food every night so not even a decent meal unless you liked a la carte. On our last night we felt that a member of staff was following us about (seemed to be everywhere we were sitting or standing behind us) and listening to us discussing the hotel we actually felt very intimidated. I won,t go on as Susan and Scott from the room next door will fill you in on the rest.

Just back from holiday. Sadly this is nowhere near a 5star more 2.5. Good points are fantastic views and the weather. Our room was tiny. Balcony a joke. Two seats facing each other with no table. Air conditioning very poor. Rooms tired . Not cleaned daily with fresh towels. We ate out every night as food was cold and same every evening. Unfortunately the staff were not very welcoming apart frim Yoseph who smiled and was attentative. Bodrum is beautiful but i would not return to this hotel again

Arrived with a smooth check in, a welcoming male member of staff then taken to our room by another. Breath taking views at reception. Room on the surface looked ok but from here downhill. Shower room poor. No ventilation in it. Dirty grout. Rusty towel rail etc. Nowhere to hang hand towel. Room had a fab sea view. Balcony small which not really a problem but no table. Went to poolside on first day but not the cleanest, broken beds and pool looked dirty so from then on we used the private beach which was lovely. Thankfully on first day we found Bona Dea, the beach bar which on the whole the food was lovely and ended up the only place we ate in hotel. The restaurant had poor selection, especially breakfast as didn’t cater for the British. No bacon, pork sausages , mushrooms etc. Juices in containers on a trolley and not kept chilled. Water melon in a big plastic box. Cold fried eggs. Dinner at restaurant poor. Chips out 15 mins before opening service and poor selection unless you like food dripping in a sauce. No pasta with a selection of sauces to choose. The A La Carte restaurant, you can try one night on a 7 night stay, was lovely but only for seafood lovers which thankfully we were. No theme nights in restaurant but stray cats allowed . Staff serving drinks at reception area most helpful and couldn’t do enough for you, the way it should be. One evening sitting at the terrace talking to two other couples we got into trouble from someone from the management for being too noisy. We were only talking and laughing not dancing from the ceiling ‍♀️. In the early mornings the staff arriving for work, deliveries and some other guests were more noisy than us. We felt so intimidated by a couple of staff members one evening (as did other guests) we had to sleep with our cases and a chair behind our doors. We thought you can lock your door from the inside but we checked and you are still able to enter from outside. The roof top terrace had stunning views but not maintained (lighting with no bulbs at one end). A female staff there would only be nice if you tipped her first. She made us feel uncomfortable so we stopped sitting there. Entertainment virtually non existent. Housekeeping shocking. Never left towels or bath mats and binned our soap each day without replacing. One day we arrived back and the lampshade had disappeared with live wires on display which I discovered when I got an electric shock. Found the shade under the case storage which has been clearly placed. Did report and they installed a brand new upside down light fitting ‍♀️. Next day we did return to a basket of fruit and macaroons which we never got the chance to enjoy as staff removed next morning. We would return to Bodrum but not here.

The only good thing about this hotel is that it has a nice sea view from the roof top bar. But I don't think anyone would want to pay that amount of money just for a sea view. Also there is a part of the staff who are fun and cool. If you want a holiday in a 5-star hotel, don't waste your time with Diamond of Bodrum. Definitely not 5 stars. Starting with the room which is super basic, the bed and pillows are uncomfortable, the air conditioner is extremely weak and the room cannot cool down. The bathroom is not even worthy of comment - dirty, old, unmaintained. After that - the food is the same every time, with slight changes. You also get a stomach ache after it. And perhaps the most scandalous thing is that they do not have enough pool and beach places for their guests. Literally every day you wonder where to go to the beach. The beach is dirty, stony and has 2 rows of sunbeds, which are probably 30 sunbeds. About the pool - there are written and unwritten rules. The written rule is that it is not allowed to reserve a sunbed before 8 a.m. in the morning, and the unwritten rule is that if the staff sees that you have not sat on the towel for an hour or so, they directly remove it from the sunbed, but despite this, they do not follow the written rule and at 7 a.m. in the morning all the sunbeds are occupied. It's like paying to enter a pool, but if you don't stay on the sunbed for more than an hour, you lose your right to have a sunbed. We paid extra for a room with a sea view, but actually the view is of the guests, who are sunbathing just below the terrace. I don’t wanna know what are the rooms of the the people who didn't pay for sea view room.
