My husband and I had planned to stay in Phong Nha for 3 nights but after our first day we added a 4th night to our trip because we just felt so relaxed and comfortable staying in this AMAZING villa and location. We loved everything about our stay. The villas were gorgeous, the staff were so fantastic, the food delicious, the atmosphere relaxing. Nothing was too much trouble and the lovely staff were so helpful and informative about how to visit everything we wanted to see in the area. They organised a scooter for us and also organised our tour to the DMZ on our way to Hue when we left. We could have stayed in Phong Nha longer - it was such a quaint rural village. We also met the owner of the Villas, Ben, who with his wife also own Phong Nha Farmstay and he was a great Aussie guy, very genuine and informative. Cannot recommend this place enough.
Response from Property: Hi SUNnFUN4ever Thank you for leaving us such a nice review. This happens often that our guests extend for 1 or 2 nights in order to fully enjoy this beautiful area of Phong Nha - Ke bang Nationnal park. Hoping to see you back another time. Best regards. Victory Road Villas team.

Absolutely fabulous stay at the Villas, perfect accommodation and setting, the staff cannot do enough for you and the ladies that run the place are so helpful and good fun. We were very well looked after and cannot thank the Victory Villas team enough. Special thanks to Ben the owner who came and rescued us 50km from civilisation when we had a flat tyre on the Ho Chi Minh road, when you’re in trouble and a big Aussie appears with his pickup to help you out, it’s a lifesaver! Huge thanks Ben, a proper Aussie legend and a proper gentleman!
Response from Property: Hi 779kevb. Thank you for taking your time to leave us such a positive feedback. Ben the owner & all the team are always watching out our guests if there is any mechanic or other matters during your stay in Phong Nha. Kind regards. Victory Road Villas team.

I loved my stay here at the victory road villas. The staff were so welcoming and friendly especially Lan. My sister got her nails done in our room for great price. The food was very tasty especially the penne carbonara and brownie! I enjoyed swimming in the pool and playing on the pool table after dinner.
Response from Property: Hi Curiosity. Thank you for taking your time to share your experience, we are glad you loved your stay and our team members. Best regards. Victory road Villas team.

My husband and I stayed 4 nights and did not have one negative thing to say about our experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and efficient. The facilities were brilliant. The villas are clean and spacious. We spent 2 days exploring caves and had one day to relax. It was very easy to fill in a hot day between playing billiards and having a swim in the pool. The restaurant was awesome. We had the best beef steak we’ve ever eaten here. Definitely highly recommend staying here!
Response from Property: Hi 206nikolam. Hope you are well & enjoyed the rest of your holiday , thank you for your nice review. The Villas restaurant is probably the best restaurant in the province for western food, but we also serve several Vietnamese specialities as Cha Ca La Vong ( Fish ) , Nem Lui Hue ... Best regards. Victory Road Villas team.

Stunning location with a backdrop of rocky tree covered mountains and river meandering in from. Attentive friendly staff. Food is amazing. Catered for a large group of us with ease even though we hadn’t pre booked the evening meal. Service was on point. It’s so good we’ve come back for breakfast.
Response from Property: Hi Veronajames. Thank you to choose The Villas restaurant for your group. Our Bar/restaurant is ideal for large group indeed as well as solo, families... Located along the Son river in front some georgous karst moutains, Open everyday from 6:00 am to 10 pm. Best Regards. The Villas restaurant team.

Absolutely incredible time here during a 5 day stay over Christmas; found Victory Road Villas listed in this year's Lonely Planet guide and after checking out their website booked us in for Christmas during our Asia trip. We arrived on Xmas eve and were greeted by the team cheering "Merry Christmas", taken straight to the restaurant for mulled wine infront of the log burner and decorated cookies ... honestly magical! After the most seamless checkin (didn't even feel like it) we were shown to our incredible Villa with views of the karsts; it was exceptional! Food in the restaurant was always spot on day in day out and the team there were all incredible!! We didn't want to leave and the team went above and beyond to ensure our stay was magical. Not had a stay like it ... thanks all : )

I stayed at Victory Road Villas for a total of 2 nights. I think I was the only guest staying there at the time along with my elderly parents. The staff is hard working, helpful and treats the guests well. Full points to them. I have some issues with the property though. Firstly the food prices at the property are very expensive . We arrived late at night and had to eat at the restaurant. The food quality is good but it’s not worth the price we paid. Secondly the rooms/ villas don’t have phones so you have to rush out to the reception if u have any need. The rooms/villas are not suitable for the elderly. The big steps in the staircase make it difficult to carry your luggage to the upper room. Also the AC in the upper wasn’t cooling and we substituted it with table fan. Lastly the currency rates that we got here was outlandish as compared to what we got from outside. Overall it’s a good place to stay that needs to improve their facilities.

Victory Road Villas won our hearts! The 3-bedroom River View Penthouse Villa was our sanctuary of privacy and luxury in Phong Nha, Vietnam. With its spacious double-height living room, open-plan kitchen, and three private bedrooms, it was the epitome of elegance and comfort. Each corner of this 180 sqm villa is designed with an artisan's eye for detail, showcasing authentic Vietnamese decor and ceramics from Bat Trang village. Our evenings were spent in the family-sized Jacuzzi with glass walls, offering a stunning view of the Son River and the mountains. And, oh, the sunsets were pure magic! This is the epitome of luxury in Phong Nha. And then there's The Villas Restaurant, the most beautiful eating place in Phong Nha where we indulged in some delicious food. Dining here was equally delightful, with simple yet scrumptious dishes. This staycation was a blend of luxury, nature, and Vietnamese hospitality. We had an amazing time here at Victory Road Villas!

This cool place offers quite some space in their villas. The food is great and area itself is relaxed. The pool area could use some attention to match the cozy atmosphere of the front bit nevertheless a great place to stay a couple of nights. Especially if you‘re looking for some adventure in the national park. Every staff member was very nice and the manager was always open for a chat or to share some insights and recommendations.

In one word: amazing! We have spend 3 days, 2 nights here and the rooms/appartements are fantastic. Clean, spacious, large fridge pre filled with wine and other sorts of drinks, beds are large and made with bright white sheets, towels smell fresh and flowerly. The design of the room is super, love it. The restaurant serves good quality food, very tasteful - both western as Vietnamese food. Full restaurant every night, super populair and for a good reason. Staff is very friendly and helpful with advising and helping with day trips and excursions. If you are in this beautiful area of Vietnam, I definitely recommend you to stay here.

We stayed here as a base to go trekking in Phong Nha national park and it was a great choice. Superb value for money at USD 130 per night for a family of 4, best breakfast in Vietnam and AC that worked well as a respite to the oppressive heat and humidity, plus the ladies on reception spoke excellent English and were super helpful. Hard to fault

We loved our time at Victory Rd villas. We rented the penthouse as we had a group of 5. The weather was actually cold and rainy for the couple of days we were there so it was nice to have somewhere to hang out and relax. The restaurant and bar were fun. The cocktails are fantastic.

Excellent place. The owners of Victory Road also own the Phong Nha Farmstay. We stayed at Victory Road but also visited the farmstay. Both are really nice. If you want to be in town, close the river and be within walking distance to town, stay at Victory Road. If you want to be in a more secluded location, stay at the farmstay (it's out in rice fields, about 10 minutes from town). We stayed in the penthouse at Victory Road, which has three bedrooms and a large common space. It was great for our group. Very large space, plus kitchen amenities. The hotel only has about 6 rooms overall, so it is small. We ate several meals at the hotel restaurant, which was very good. Best part overall was the staff. So friendly, so accommodating. They gave us several great recommendations for activities in the area. And the service is just excellent overall, partly because it's a large staff at a small hotel. Laundry, for example, is done within a couple hours, and costs hardly anything (by western standards). We talked to the owners, and we learned that many of the staff have been there for many years, stuck it out through covid and the flood of 2020 and so on. They are very loyal and dedicated. (Honestly sort of regret that we didn't leave an even bigger tip.) I see that in some of the reviews -- both of Victory Road and the Farmstay -- that people complain about them being too expensive. It is true that these are more expensive than most places in town -- but town is full of cheap/dumpy hostels and homestays. So yes, if you are trying to tour Vietnam on $20 a day or something, you should stay at a hostel, like the central backpackers' hostel. If you want to stay someplace a bit nicer, Victory Road and Farmstay are great options. And even though they are some of the most expensive places in Phong Nha, they are still a great value by world/western standards. Like a beer at the hotel restaurant is about $1.50. Just one last example. We were over at the Farmstay having a beer. At the end of the afternoon, we decided it was time to come home. Ben, one of the owners, loaded us up in his truck and drove us home. Was great to chat and hear about his life in Vietnam. That's the kind of place this is.
