Hotel Goldener Berg

We have been coming to this wonderful hotel for many years, and yet every stay somehow feels like the first time. The hotel combines style and elegance with an atmosphere that immediately makes you feel welcome and well looked after. What truly makes this place exceptional, however, is the warmth and genuine hospitality of the entire team. Everywhere you feel the sincere desire to make guests feel comfortable and create a special experience. Our sincere thanks to the whole team for these wonderful days. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

A very beautiful place with many great little details, attentive and friendly staff, creative and delicious food. I especially liked the very good two yoga classes per day, the generous spa treatments and the library. The landscape is amazing and its so beautiful to walk/hike there.

The positive remarks first: the staff of the hotel is very friendly and competent. The location of the hotel is very good...you walk out of the door and are in the middle of a beoutiful landscape. The highlight of the hotel by far is the large wellness center with an indoor pool that leads to a beautiful infinity outdoor pool, overlooking a spectacular mountain scenery. The breakfast is very varied and very good. Dinner is good too, the menu itself has not too much choice for vegetarians. Whats very much missing, however, is a mini-bar in the room, apparently to maintain an ECO standard. Offering by the reception to keep brought items cool is comlicated. This also goes for the lack of coffee and tea making facilities in the room. One can rent a Nespresso machine with 4 (four) coffee capsules for Euro 15.--. Very unusual for a 4-star hotel. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and can recommend it.

Staff was excellent and very accommodating, the hotel room was very nice, and the facilities were great. The one exception was Jim which was quite limited.

Amazing food, best cuisine in our entire European Tour! Loved how clean and well maintained the property was, and the elegant spa. Will definitely be returning! A 5 star experience

Wonderful hotel in Oberlech. The staff were very professional and friendly and we loved swimming in the outdoor heated pool.

A complete 5 star experience. Most beautiful pool and spa facilities. Fantastic helpful staff, always available and very friendly. Ski in and ski out. 4 different restaurants with a mix of traditional and modern cuisine and extensive wine list.

Great lunch on the terrace, big improvement over the last couple of years. All the food was great especially the bbq stuff. Don’t order the mont d’or it’s nice but small for €40! Otherwise great service and lovely food. And the view is amazing.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Goldener Berg in Lech. What makes this place really special is its unbeatable ski-in/ski-out location—stepping right onto the slopes in the morning was such a luxury! After long days on the mountain, the spa area was exactly what we needed. The outdoor hot tub with breathtaking mountain views was a highlight, and the sauna and steam rooms were great for unwinding. Everything was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, making it a perfect place to relax. Probably the best spa area I have ever experienced at a hotel!! The staff were truly exceptional—friendly, professional, and always eager to help. We felt welcomed from the first moment, and their attentiveness really made a difference. Dining was another highlight of our stay. We had several amazing evenings at Alter Goldener Berg, the cozy next-door restaurant, where the food was delicious and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We also dined at The Johannisstübli in the hotel, which was equally impressive—the dishes were beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and perfectly matched with great wines. Both restaurants offered a fantastic dining experience that we would highly recommend! The staff at these two restaurants were equally excellent!! Overall, if you’re looking for a comfortable and well-located ski hotel with top-notch service, a really great spa, and excellent dining options, Hotel Goldener Berg is a fantastic choice. We’re already looking forward to coming back!
