You have to check in at the Azalea Inn just two buildings north of this location. The staff is very friendly. The room is very clean but this is a very old building so if you're looking for something very modern this is not it. They have an electric car charger in the parking lot that was blocked by a gas vehicle but the cord is long enough to reach to the next spot which fortunately was available. Charger is a Tesla charger but I was able to plug in my rental Ford Mustang Mach-E using my Tesla to J1772 adapter that I brought from home.

Will definitely be booking more weekend getaways in future. 3 kids 11 and under and the small cabin with spiral staircase to loft rooms was a hit. Kids loved it!

Loved the fire pit and hospitality room, clean comfortable beds, a DVD player and a DVD library of old favorites, board games. Charming stay great for families in downtown Blowing Rock

Loved the little town of blowing rock we stayed inn. Mountainaire inn pretty room was good for 2 people. Only thing is we wish we had a fridge n microwave
Loved being able to walk around town to eat, look around and shopping. Also had a great bike ride up in Boone.

Beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Walls are thin and it's very noisy. Check in after 8 was offsite and inconvenient. Staff inexperienced and unhelpful. Won't stay there again.

The hotel was exactly what we expected!! The only negative was the timing of our visit. Hurricane Helene came through during our trip to Blowing Rock

The room was a far cry from the photo on the website. Built in 1954 and, it seems, not updated much since. Wi-Fi was unreliable most of the time. Not a place you want to chill. That said, close to good restaurants.
