Blowing Rock
A well positioned small hotel that is comfortable and even has a dvd library in their beverage room. Will definately return if I'm in the area again.

The property has a great location in downtown Blowing Rock.
The property was not clean; it had cobwebs on the ceiling fan and light fixture in the bedroom. There was no plug for the bathtub; so, it was left functionless.

Not enough staff. Could not check in at check in time. Very behind on cleaning cabins. Plus no a/c on when we finally got to the cabin. Very hot and didnt cool off for a while. Awesome place but poorly managed. Maybe more people working would make the experience better. Staff was very nice though.

We expected the fireplace to be working but were informed they had been disabled. On of the reasons we chose a cabin.

You have to check in at the Azalea Inn just two buildings north of this location. The staff is very friendly. The room is very clean but this is a very old building so if you're looking for something very modern this is not it. They have an electric car charger in the parking lot that was blocked by a gas vehicle but the cord is long enough to reach to the next spot which fortunately was available. Charger is a Tesla charger but I was able to plug in my rental Ford Mustang Mach-E using my Tesla to J1772 adapter that I brought from home.

Will definitely be booking more weekend getaways in future. 3 kids 11 and under and the small cabin with spiral staircase to loft rooms was a hit. Kids loved it!

Loved the fire pit and hospitality room, clean comfortable beds, a DVD player and a DVD library of old favorites, board games. Charming stay great for families in downtown Blowing Rock
