Nice little motel The Blowing Rock Motel was very cute and in a good location. We enjoyed being able to walk to nearby businesses. We also enjoyed the gas fire pit that was available.

We stayed here after reading the reviews of how clean it was. I agree....the room was very clean! Beds were comfortable. We would stay here again! The only thing I would change, is we wished the bathroom had an exhaust fan.

Did not like the suite as it was sparse, dank and located behind the main building almost like two small cabins with a common walkway off a gravel driveway. The manager was very gracious, we discussed our options and she showed us another room that we took. It was adequate but with a very noisy heater. Location was good ! One issue was that for the suite there was only one picture shown for this room and it focused only on the bed. It didn’t reflect the baroness of that room. We did find out that the property was recently sold and they are in the process renovating the property.

The room was okay and clean. But for the money we paid it wasn't as good as I expected. The sheets were well worn and not soft. The maid came in without knocking first. The pillows were not comfortable. The bathtub would not stop up and I couldn't take a bath. The checkin and out was good. The TV was excellent.

Great stay! We had a great stay. We spent a day snow tubing and this hotel was the perfect spot. Close to dining and small shops were within walking distance.

Blowing Rock is a pretty little mountain town. The property is a converted motel and is well kept. The people working there are friendly and helpful. The apartment that i stayed in had multiple rooms with a different heater in each. If you are skiing at Sugar Mountain, the shortest route requires AWD however it isn't too much longer to go back through Boone and stay on main roads. Blowing Rock has restaurants and Boone has more restaurants and grocery stores. Overall this was a great find and a great value. I would go there again.

Cute quaint little motel. Very nice staff. Walked to dinner on a beautiful snowy evening. Very short drive to Appalachian ski mountain. We'll be back for our next ski trip for sure.
