The staff are very friendly and the Lodge is in a good location, just a short drive from the N1 as we were on our way to Pretoria from Stilbaai. The bed was a bit uncomfortable, but we still had a good night's sleep. The breakfast was very yummy and huge - we can definitely recommend it! Overall a very good experience!

I enjoyed my short stay at Monte Christo country lodge. A hidden gem in Bloemfontein that is tranquil and offers all the necessary amenities for a stay away from home.

It was a lovely, comfortable stay which was convenient to where we needed to be. The staff were friendly and helpful. My two criticisms are that the rooms could do with some attention and the Bain Maries could be lit to keep the breakfast warm. We would stay there again.

I had a great experience. The stuff was so helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend the place to anyone. The environment is quite, clean and well taken care of. My car was also parked on a safe space.

The place was good, easy to find on maps I arrived very late however they were waiting for me. The place was quiet. I can go again and I will recommend to my friends who will be travelling to Bloemfontein

Nice place, however for the 3 days that my husband was there, there was no warm water. He told reception about it, and nothing was done. He had to shower in cold water everyday. This was unacceptable.

Superfiscially clean but???????Carpets dirty, cigarette butts at tables outside and spider webbs in bathroom. Wifi did not work. TV channels very limitedand TV in room very small. Safety was good and bed good. We had a good nights rest, to travel further, although I am not sattisfied.

Great service from all. Very close to a good steak restuarant "Longhorns". Only thing was the 200m dirt road to get there when it rains, but I'll take that over a bad stay anytime. Breakfast was on time and lovely.
