Blarney Castle Hotel

A few minutes’ walk to Blarney Castle, this character hotel was a lovely place to stay. Opulent curtains and decoration. The staff were all friendly and helpful including the owner Una who always ensured our needs were met. Our room was a good size and had two windows that could be opened and overlooked a small park. We could also see the top of Blarney Castle in the distance. We accessed the room from the small carpark at the rear of the hotel and surprisingly we were able to park in the hotel car park every night. The room was spacious with mirrored wardrobes and plenty of storage. Everything was clean and tidy. Double bed, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer. Plenty of plug sockets. TV. The bathroom was a good size with a nice shower. During our two nights stay we ate in the Hotel restaurant both times and found the food and ambience to be lovely. Breakfast the following morning was good and included a selection of lovely cooked breakfasts and cereals/fruit from the menu which set us up well for the day.

This place is a hidden gem. It is 10 mins drive from Cork City, and a beautiful spotless hotel with staff that go the extra mile and treat you like a guest. At night there is a dead silence outside in the town, where you can just hear a stream gushing. It’s bliss. The breakfast in my opinion (and I judge places on how they treat their guests at Breakfast) is Exceptional! Ten out of ten. The rooms are spacious and the town is lively with plenty to do. The only bad thing is having to leave. 10/10 Staff are brilliant here.

Great location; across the street from The Blarney stone/castle. The town of Blarney is pretty small but lovely. Helpful staff; great food and drink. Great hot breakfast set up in the morning. Very tiny rooms but you are not staying for the rooms. Get out and explore!

What a lovely place to stay. Location is perfect - less than 5 minute walk from the castle and on the square with some nice dining and shopping options. The staff is amazing - so kind and helpful, every single person we spoke with was just wonderful. The rooms were nicely sized and very clean, the restaurant (especially breakfast) was excellent, and live music was a lot of fun. Will definitely return.

Absolutely beautiful hotel! This was the best hotel/B&B we stayed at our entire trip! The rooms are beautiful and the beds are extremely comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the owner was very accommodating and wanted to ensure that everything was perfect! We also spent time in the bar and the wait staff was very nice! You will not be disappointed.

Perfect location just across the village square and entrance to Blarney Castle. Pretty little hotel with a nice ambiance and lovely decor. I had a room on the top floor with a little view of the castle! The staff is helpful and efficient. Breakfast was disappointing, but otherwise, a lovely stay.
