Seaside Blankenberge

We had booked an overnight stay on Friday April 14 with an "experience voucher" in the Aparthotel hotel in Blankenberge. We arrived there at 6:15 PM. There was no one at the reception. We couldn't immediately find the key box, so I called the emergency number posted at the reception. They answered there and told me they would notify someone. I then called again on the landline on the desk to say that I had found the key box and was already going to my room. What I found there was unbelievable. The bed was not made, there was still a bottle and 2 pints on the table, the used towels were still on the floor in the bathroom, the waste bin still contained hair and tissues, .... unimaginable. So it is clear that the person responsible had completely forgotten about this. Moreover, at a quarter past 6 (6:15 PM) there was no one at the reception, while the email stated that there is ALWAYS someone there until 7 PM. The hotel manager came in angry, completely upset because I had called from the desk phone. We were not welcome and had to leave the building immediately. We weren't going to get the money back either. He paid no attention to the fact that the room was dirty and the fact that he was not there at 6:15 PM, all he cared about was shouting at us to leave. I then called the police. He then arrived at the scene and tried to calm the man down. The police officer also suggested that we go to the Mercure hotel or the Ibis to see if there was a room available there... and luckily there was. What I especially want to complain about is the way in which the manager dares to be so rude in order to cover up a serious shortcoming. Unheard, unseen and unimaginable. Arrived in a room that wasn't even cleaned, curtain torn and we were told to come back in 30 minutes, NO but LOL!!! BIG ******* MOUTH. 190 euros for a night for 2, it's clearly a steal for a disgusting establishment with disgusting carpets and I'm not talking about the walls!!!!

Grote kamer, ruimte genoeg maar superveel lawaai, zowel op de gang als in de straat, je hoort er echt alles. Niks isolatie. De kraan lekte, dus ook dat gedrup en de verwarmingsketel in badkamer hoorde je snachts ook draaien. Kortom,geen oog dichtgedaan

Prachtig uitzicht, pal aan zee. Schone kamer. Gastvrije ontvangst. Royale kamer hadden wij met 2 aparte slaapkamers. Modern ingericht. Eigen keuken met koelkast, magnetron, koffiezetapparaat en waterkoker. Bedden lagen goed. Kussens aan de zachte kant

Honteux !!! J’ai du chercher un hôtel en urgence tellement la chambre etait sale, pleins de poussières ! Le réceptionniste n a rien voulu savoir , il sentait l alcool .Je pensais vraiment que c était une caméra cachée ! Ma fille est asthmatique et elle dormait dans un lit pliant a 10 cm de la moquette sale avec de l’urine d’animaux … L’hôtel n a pas voulu nous rembourser !

Heel verouderde kamer, het behang kwam van de muren. Op het eerste zicht proper maar als je beter keek niet met veel zorg gepoetst. Op de gang hing ook een vreemde vieze geur, de lift oud en met graffiti bespoten. Bij aankomst ook geen personeel te zien: er stond een bord met bij afwezigheid bel deze nummer. Ik kwam uit op een vreemde voicemail. Uiteindelijk kwam er een man (conciërge) die zonder goedendag of zelfs er maar woorden aan vuil te maken onze sleutelkaart kwam geven. Het andere koppel dat samen met ons stond te wachten werd straal genegeerd, en hij was meteen ook weer weg zonder verdere informatie. 's Ochtends geen ontbijt te zien, geen uitleg om te reserveren, helemaal niks. We komen hier niet meer terug.
