We have just come back from a lovely day at The Strathdon. The room was lovely. The breakfast was absolutely beautiful with lots to choose from and the hosts were two of the nicest people we have ever met. I wouldn't ever stay anywhere else in Blackpool now that we have been here. It was recommended to me by a friend and I'll certainly be recommending it to others. Thank you so much to Veronica & Ian, we absolutely loved our stay.

My husband booked this trip as a surprise and it certainly was. Great central location. Veronica and Ian were lovely hosts. Free parking on street if available. Paid parking on end of road, £10 per 24 hrs. Or if available parking via hotel. Room had everything needed for your stay. Toiletries included. Plenty of hangers. Tea and coffee which were replenished daily. Rooms were refreshed daily too. Cute bar. Now for the amazing breakfast! Help yourself to fresh fruit salad, greek yoghurt, cereals, fresh croissants. Fresh coffee and tea with a great selection of juices. Then decide your cooked option from the menu along with toast and preserves. Honestly it was lovely! Thank you, will be back. Location is about 25 min walk to Funny Girls. 15-20 mins to Tower.

We had a lovely two night stay in this beautiful hotel.We had a family room which was perfect in every way.There is a hairdryer if needed and also toiletries for showering and handwashing,I thought this was a nice touch.Breakfast was outstanding,There is fresh croissants,cereals,I especially liked the freshly prepared mixed fruit of strawberries,blueberries,kiwi,melon apple,mandarin.Then of course we had the beautiful cooked breakfast,there is plenty of choice for different preferences,Vegetarian etc.We will without a doubt use The Strathdon again for future visits to Blackpool.Thankyou!

Beautiful homely hotel, Ian and Veronica were amazing, helped where ever they could to make my little boy feel comfortable due to him having autism. Rooms were immaculate and freshened up daily. Breakfast was outstanding. Overall an amazing hotel and welcoming hosts. We will definitely be back next time we come to Blackpool!

Just come back from a fantastic week in Blackpool. The Strathdon hotel is by far the best place we’ve ever stayed in Blackpool a real gem. Everything is absolutely immaculate and the food was just amazing you will not be disappointed with the breakfast. I can also really recommend the homemade lasagne. Nothing is too much trouble, Ian and Veronica are really welcoming and our little boy took a real shine to them. We have already booked to come back. Thanks again for a great stay. Amazing family stay ☺️
Breakfast was absolutely delicious, the room was beautiful, a travel cot was provided for my baby and my bed was very comfortable, one of the comfiest beds I’ve slept in. The hosts were so attentive and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Very family friendly! I will definitely be back and would 100% recommend to anyone 👌

Just returned from yet another fantastic stay at the Strathdon Hotel in Blackpool. This time it was a party of 6 of us travelling down to celebrate my 50th birthday. Veronica and Ian couldn't have hosted us any better than they did and really ensured every one of us had the best possible time. Was awesome to come down at breakfast time - even if already a little worse for wear - to see a big 50th balloon at the breakfast table. The hotel is just the perfect place to get away, whatever kind of break you're looking for in Blackpool. Spotlessly clean, situated in a great spot and run by two of the most genuinely fantastic people you could ever hope to meet. Until we come again :) Dave, Joanne, Stephanie, Layla, Heather & Thomas.

This hotel is the best hotel iv stayed in in a long time. Its very traditional and cosy. The room we had was spot on. Very clean, we even had a fan in the room with this heat! The owners clearly care about their customers comfort. The mattress was very comfortable. The breakfast well what a variety. From fresh fruit with yogurt a breakfast menu including small or large breakfast, even salmon. We are coming back next weekend if there is availability. I actually wouldnt consider staying anywhere else from now on! Thanks for a fantastic night We will definitely be back 😊
