Walkden House

Love this hotel. Great location, homely and clean. Comfy beds, spacious rooms and the breakfast is always delicious. The hosts are so nice and nothing is a bother. Second time staying here and it won’t be out our last. Right behind coral island and the tower

We’ve just returned from a 2 night stay. Lovely, clean hotel in a perfect central location. The hosts were fab and couldn’t do enough for us. Room was lovely and clean, very spacious too and comfy beds. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice as well as a hot, freshly prepared breakfast too. We had a fun packed weekend and it just so happens the fireworks were on too. We will definitely be returning the same time next year. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Once again an amazing stay, nothing was too much trouble for Chris and Rob, they accommodated our requests and even changed us to a better room during our stay as I was with my partner and teenage son in a family room. The prices are really good especially for the school holidays knowing how much others businesses can inflate the prices. The location is perfect, just a 5 minute walk to the tower and it was quiet considering our room was at the front of the hotel when we moved room, the breakfast is amazing and so much choice is available and it’s also not too early so everyone cab have that much deserved lay in whilst on holiday. I am looking forward to my next stay in March and October and it’s great knowing exactly which room we will be in as was requested at the time of booking and happened to be available.

The rooms at Walkden House are warm, comfortable and really clean. Breakfast is cooked fresh to order so always hot, very tasty and sets you up for the day ahead. Run by excellent hosts with nothing too much trouble to ensure you have a pleasant stay. The location is spot on for anyone wishing to explore the Central to North Pier promenade and Blackpool's main entertainment spots and shopping area's. I stay for the Remembrance weekend with several friends and it's perfect for us. Parking is available nearby but be warned, do not chance leaving your vehicle where it shouldn't be as the Wardens are sharp and do issue fines for transgressions. I saw at several ticketed cars even within a Car Park! Already booked for next Remembrance Weekend, thank you once again Chris and Rob.

Central location close to Tower and promenade. Great freshly cooked breakfast and a range of breakfast options. Nice bar and lounge overlooking well kept front garden area. Looked after by two friendly, attentive and hardworking hosts. Will be going back if possible.

My mum and her partner was due to be going Walkden House for a Fri-Sun trip but unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances they could not go, so my partner and I went instead. When I arrived at Walkden House I was greeted by both Chris and Rob at the bar, who handed me the keys and explained the timing of breakfast the following morning (09:00 - 10:00am). I went upstairs to the room (number 6) and it was a lovely room, an ensuite bathroom, 1x double bed, 1x single bed and a TV in the room. Breakfast: You get a choice of a cooked breakfast with whichever items you want on it, as well as a choice of cereal, crossaints, pain au chocolats, toast. There is also a nice lounge area to sit downstairs in with comfortable sofas, TV and a bar. It has a very homely feeling! Walkden House is also in a great location, (approx.) 12 minute walk from Blackpool North station, 2 minute walk from Blackpool Central coach station, 6 minute walk to Blackpool Tower, Blackpool Dungeons, Sealife and Madame Tussauds. Just back from a 2 night stay. Lovely hosts, couldn't do enough for you, even rang me before hand to confirm our arrival. Breakfast was lovely and a good selection. Beds were comfy too. Great location, and even though it was a busy street we didn't hear much at night.

Our second stay at Walkden House and just as good as last time Our room was warm and comfortable The breakfast is amazing lots of choice and the full English is freshly cooked and so hot The hotel is ideally situated close to the Tower and the hosts are so kind and friendly they cannot do enough for you We will certainly be back and would recommend the hotel to anyone Thanks for another enjoyable stay

We had an amazing weekend, the hosts were unbelievably welcoming, the bed was comfy and the breakfast was spot on. This bnb is in a great location, the town centre, seafront and tower are easily walkable. highly recommended
