Very warm welcome on arrival, room was clean, warm and most comfortable. Husband and I unfortunately got absolutely drenched whilst out and about, was kindly offered to use their dryer for our more than wet cloths when we returned to the hotel. Was lovely to go to our room and dry off and have a warm bath (nice bath products provided). Breakfast was continental and found it fresh and resuplied often. Toast and hot croissants made on request so no waiting around the toaster waiting for your toast. Cooked breakfast at an additional charge and Cooked fresh. Great location , literally a few minutes walk round the corner to the main promenade of Blackpool. Staff are genuinely friendly with out being over the top. All in all a very pleasant experience at this hotel.

Visited the OYO Chatwell boutique hotel Blackpool at the back end of November,a really enjoyable experience. The hotel was very clean tidy and welcoming, the room was spotless, bed comfortable, forty six inch television mounted on the wall. It was warm with a partial sea view which was explained to us. In the room was a welcome pack which explained where all the visitor site's where and the distance to them. The food and drinks available was to a high standard served to you by Julius and Dreya who could not do enough to please the guest's. The only reason I've not given this five stars is because the lack of disabled facilities which again was explained to us before booking. I would most certainly recommend this hotel for comfort, warmth, friendliness and an enjoyable, parking is also available at the hotel, which is a plus in Blackpool.

A beautiful hotel. The customer service is excellent and they provided everything for us. We stayed in room 2 which was beautiful and very big. They had provided teas, coffee and machine and also bottles of water. The bed was so comfortable and the bedding was very lovely and soft. The towels were also nice and fluffy. The bathroom was large and the shower was fab. We only stayed the one night and really enjoyed ourselves. The staff are just so accommodating and very helpful. We had a complimentary continental breakfast and it was lovely fresh fruit, meats, cheese, cereal, juices, toast and jam. I paid extra to have poached eggs on toast and the eggs were perfectly cooked for me. I cannot fault this hotel and the location was ideal for us near the front. We are definitely going to return here and stay longer as i would love to use their spa facility. Thank you so much for the beautiful welcome and lovely cocktails as well.

Nice “B&B” with friendly helpful hosts, however, it is definitely not a High End Boutique Hotel. We paid £120 for one night in a Twin Room. The en suite was a shower cubicle in the bedroom which we found a bit strange, there was a separate room for the sink & toilet. No wardrobe, just a hook on the wall above a dressing table. Bottles of water and a kettle were in the room. The hotel was clean but some areas looked tired and shabby. Breakfast was continental, however, they had a menu for cooked food, we paid £13 each for a full English and it was excellent.

I'm a bit pained to write this review but potential customers need to know the truth. Positives: staff Clinton and Laura are both lovely. Negatives: dirty hall carpet, poor finishes in lots of areas. Place is shabby in places, not shabby chic. Over priced at £250 night for our suite. Continental breakfast included unless u want to pay for an Emglish breakfast. We have stayed in boutique hotels before, and this is not one. I'm really sorry Clinton and Laura because you were both great but potential paying customers should know what they are coming to. I was disappointed.

Positives The two members of staff Clinton and Laura. Both very friendly and helpful The location. Negatives Very overpriced and only‘boutique’ in parts. A bit of a shock having to pay for breakfast despite paying over £250 for our room. I wouldn’t rush back unfortunately.

The loveliest little b&b, despite only staying one night we used the private spa room, a hot tub, sauna and steam room for 2 hours for a very reasonable price, me and boyfriend loved it felt very relaxed and comfortable. We changed our evening plans so we could use spa and it was definitely worth it! The room was a very generous size with lovely good quality amenities. Laura (I think the owner/manager) was so accommodating to us. An excellent array of cocktails on the menu and the food menu also looked lovely. Would defo recommend for a getaway!

Firstly, the staff are excellent, Laura was welcoming from the moment we arrived, and the same for the other gentleman ( forgot his name sorry) but also first class, I hope management read this as their staff are 5* and if the same was to be said about the overall hotel, then it would have been 5* + all the way, but these are the reasons why overall 3*. We had room 8, top floor of the building and note: there are approx 50+ steps on the way up ( please also note : no lift ) a strange room to accommodate 4 people. The entrance to the room as you open the door you have a sofa bed with a tv on the wall, electric fire and mobile air conditioner, with a table for making tea/coffee. Not sure this area is suitable for 4 adults to sit there and watch TV. Off the room is the Bathroom, very spacious but unfortunately the shower did not work. The finishes to the door frames ( see photos's ) were not finished to boutique standards or any sort of standard really, architrave around doors missing or just felt that someone decided that's enough, lets move on, that will do, and the same with the paint work. This was the same for the bedrooms as you will see in the photos. Scuff marks and bedroom doors not closing properly, they would rattle or you would have to jam them shut, the Magnet trade sticker is still on the inside first bedroom door as you open it?. the access to the car park at the rear is very tight, especially if you have a large family car, just be careful. We stayed for 1 night and overall the price was very reasonable for 4 adults. Continental breakfast in the morning was included and if you wanted a full English there was a charge of £13 extra per person. Overall the hotel needs some love and money spent to bring it to a higher standard. Also have to mention - in the front room / bar area above the front window you can see damp coming through, the paint is coming off the wall. Would I stay here again, possibly, but that's mainly because of the staff. I'm sure the management / owners know what they have to do to bring it to a recommended Boutique standard and when they do that, I'm sure they will have a successful hotel that will bring repeat business, until then, I will probably look elsewhere but congratulations on having two outstanding members of staff and I hope you retain them and recognize their customer service skills. I have attached photos of menus, spa prices, bar prices etc. I'm also positive that even at this standard it beats most B&B's in Blackpool and I accept some of the high praise it receives in the reviews and rightly so. Please take this as positive comments and I would love to see future reviews where these comments have been used to make those changes. Thank you
