My favourite bnb in blackpool been going for many years mark and kerry alway make us feel welcome wonderful breakfast lovely clean bnb I visit atleast 3 maybe 4 times a year always recommending to friends and family to stay at this bnb well done to you both kerry and Mark x

As a party of 9 crafters and a doggo we took over the hotel, and had the time of our lives. We spent 5 days with Mark & Kerry - the hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for either host. The food was excellent. Good home cooking at its best, very generous ð land we were all served at the same time so we all ate together rather than a table at a time. The hotel was spotlessly clean both downstairs as well as the rooms. The bathroom was modern, with a shower, and our room had a single and double bed, matching bedding, and the sets of towels all matched each other and the bathroom. Coffee making facility in the room was welcomed especially as we are very poor sleepers. The hotel is a stones throw from the Tower and sea front as well as the shops. Thanks again Mark & Kerry, we will see you again next year Overall a lovely place to stay, we highly recommend it

I wanted somewhere to stop for just one night whilst I was in Blackpool. Most people will know Blackpool is covered with hotels and guesthouse's. After extensive searching and reading reviews I choose Glen Allen Guesthouse. As it turns out it was a fantastic choice. Great communication from kerry, one half of the owners and mark been the other. Kerry confirmed my booking and also managed my request at the time of booking of a lower floor due movement difficulties with my legs. When I arrived I was received by kerry and mark who gave me a very down to earth welcome. I was checked in with ease, asked about what certain items I would like for my breakfast. My room was spotlessly clean,comfy bed,nice fresh and clean bathroom with fresh quality towels. As soon as I dropped off my baggage I was of to explore Blackpool and ineed of a taxi to which kerry was kind and quick to organise one for me. Breakfast was spot on, well cooked and presented with care. Plenty of toast also given with a redhot stainless pot of coffee which was my choice of hot drink. Enough for a few cups. plus some nice orange juice. So if your looking for somewhere to stay with a warm welcome, Glen Allen Guesthouse is the place for you. Many thanks kerry & mark.

Obsolutely LOVED IT! Clean,comfortable,nice breakfast,large en suite shower, very reasonable price and hosts were very friendly and helpful. Even allowed me to put my folding bike indoors. DEFINETLY be BACK !

The owners were lovely however.... The family room was TINY. A double bed and bunk bed squeezed into what was a double bedroom. Not ideal for a family of 4 plus luggage. To have a shower you had to run the hot tap for 10 minutes to get hot water, then sit on the floor of the shower to be able to get any water to come out! !! The wifi was broken and 4g signal seemed to be non existant (Three). They have 2 dogs which were friendly but quite yappy so be aware ifyou have children who dont like dogs. The room was clean and decoration was of a good standard. Location was good.

I recently stayed from the 28th til the 1st of May and was descusted by the attitude and hospitality of the male owner, my partner and I was placed in room 8 all was well at first we moved the bed to a slight angle to see the TV on a night time I took my now tv stick for some kind of entertainment I am a autistic 28 year old and sometimes find it hard to connect to the outside world. Anyway that's when the unprompted entering our room and been beyond petty began I was informed the bed was moved back and the stick had been ripped out nearly broken, needless to say I was unhappy then the morning of us leaving Sunday the male owner decided to dress me down in front of the other guests threatened to raise the price of my room after I forgot to turn the TV off. The more unsettling part of this is how he even new when I'd left the bathroom light on or anything both wilst we was out and about or even in our room. I also find it funny he saved his nasty rant for the last day noing I couldent ask for a refund as I'd tenqually stayed the time, what was worse because I questioned the electricity been encluded in the price of the room I was met with him in my face i could smell it making threats and his body language said I want to fight. A truly aggressive man wouldent suggest staying to my worst enemy the attitude and confrontation for nothing but using some electric after 11pm il add as I was out all day descusting don't take kids ul be charged for anything and everything.
