The service at the hotel was excellent and all the staff were very welcoming. Missed alarm clock resulted in stuck point to go for breakfast but still served with enthusiasm.

Excellent quality hotel offering superb value for money. Staff caring, friendly and helpful at all times. Food was most enjoyable with good choices at both breakfast and dinner with tea and coffee on offer in the bar lounge - ideal for wet afternoons. Pleasing views from many bedrooms towards the Welsh mountains. Rooms are spotlessly clean with fresh bedding and towels, plus tea/coffee making facilities. Property is reasonably accessible with a ramp to the entrance plus passenger lift with room either for two guests or one with large luggage or a walker - possibly even a very small wheelchair. A good location too, with pleasant walks in a relatively quiet part of the resort along the raised promenade (sea defences). Convenient for 30 minute tram service to Fleetwood or hourly bus serving St Annes and Cleveleys, with additional tram service direct to North Station. Good connections to all attractions, including Heritage Tram Tours departing from North Pier Festival House at weekends during the Summer and Autumn seasons. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to take a break in Blackpool for the attractions and entertainment or simply to enjoy a quiet refreshing rest (no stag/hen groups stay here).

On arrival I was greeted at the reception desk. Check in was simple, I was given the room key I had booked a single room but was pleasantly surprised that I'd been given a large twin room with a full bathroom with bath and shower overhead. There were 4 large towels and 2 hand towels on the rail and a towel footmat. My room had a Seaview overlooking the illuminations and the Giant promenade Mirrorball. A tram stop was a 2 minute walk away (beside the Mirrorball) The room was warm, it had 2 large radiators with a further radiator and the heated towel rail in the bathroom. I had a walk along the illuminations, intending to get a tram back from the tower, it was a nice night so I walked both ways. I had a very reasonably priced pint in the bar before retiring. The bed linen a was spotlessly clean crispy white with lovely fluffy pillows to match. After a good night's sleep it was down for b/fast in the lovely wood panelled dining room, there was the usual starter / continental selection. Then the delicious plated full English served on hot plates was brought to your table, along with as much tea or coffee and toast as you required. I attended the lovely Rememberance Service (the purpose of my Blackpool visit) at the Blackpool Cenotaph on the Sunday morning then a slow walk back to the hotel along the seafront looking forward to my 2nd nights stay. I enjoyed my w/end at the Headlands, to me part of the hotels appeal/charm, was the lovely wood panelling throughout the main areas (some would call it 'old fashioned') plus the genuine friendliness of any of the lovely staff I met over the 3 days. The price I paid was a lot less than some of the more traditional B&B's wanted for Bed only. Would I stay again? ........ A definite 100% I would!

Lovely hotel, ideally located for the Pleasure Beach. It even has a car park! The interior is a little tired, but this is more than made up for by everything being spotlessly clean and the staff being fabulous! Everyone we spoke to were so friendly and pleasant. Our bed was super comfy and the room was spacious and had excellent views of the Promenade to the sea beyond. Breakfast was delicious and served quickly - the whole set up worked like a well oiled machine! The staff in the dining room were so attentive too, with offers of more toast or extra tea seeming to be the norm. I can highly recommend this little gem of a hotel!

A retired couple, we have stayed at the Headlands Hotel, Blackpool on several previous occasions and have always enjoyed going there. This time we stayed for 2 nights, mid-week, to see the illuminations and visit the Tower Circus. Once again, we were very pleased with the Headlands, we had great breakfasts and evening meals on both days. the food was plentiful, with good choice, served piping hot by friendly attentive staff. This time, we had a double, sea facing room on the second floor which, as always, was spotlessly clean. Bed was very comfortable, tea & coffee provided in the room, shower and bath with plenty of hot water. Yes, the rooms are old-fashioned but that is the style and ambience of this hotel which, coupled with excellent, friendly service from all the staff provides a great holiday experience. Thank you Headlands, we will be back!
