The Albert Hotel Near Winter Gardens

The location is good being only a few minutes to The Tower and Winter gardens. If you are on a tight budget then this place would be fine. The beds are nice and comfortable. The reason for my lower than usual rating was our bathroom facilities were down the corridor. Obviously this meant hoping that no one was about in the middle of the night as we dashed from room to toilet facilities. We had no idea when we booked and no-one advised us where the bathroom was on arrival either. As others have mentioned it would benefit from a decoration refresh and housekeeping should be trained to clean behind the bedside tables. As mentioned though, nice beds and good for a tight budget. Parking was also challenging but that isn't the fault of the hotel. We parked about 10 minutes away as the car parks close to the hotel and street parking were all taken. Maybe try parking at Houndshill shopping centre.

I stayed in the single room for 4 nights - was absolutely perfect tfor my needs. Bed was comfy, the bathroom had all the amenities needed and the little coffee/ tea station was lovely. You preorder breakfast the night before, which is good because it helps Jennie in the kitchen but also means that you're not hanging about for ages in the morning. And breakfast was absolutely divine! Both George and Jennie were very friendly hosts, I definitely look forward to staying again in the future.

Being going to this hotel for a while and considered jennie and george to be like friends however when our tv broke on the fri we was left without 1 all wkend and had to check out early when asked them for 1 days refund we didn't get it stating it wasnt there fault jennie who runs hotel didn't even bother speaking to us good job the other facilities didn't break as they wouldnt have fixed them definitely wont be returning again

Best hotel in Blackpool for Rebellion weekend and i have been in a few bad ones though out the years coming. The Albert is clean, fresh and tidy, stone throw from the winter gardens, beautiful breakfast, nice morning music lol, just love it ☠️☠️☠️

Great stay for a family if 5. Comfortable, clean rooms, set slightly back away from the major noise through the night. The hosts can’t do enough for you and the breakfast was great. We arrived 2 hours early and they still went out of their way to accommodate us. We Will definitely be returning

We stay at this hotel every time we go Blackpool, jennie and george are brilliant very warm and friendly cant do enough for you, rooms are spotless and beds are so comfy, they have a very spacious karaoke bar we went last wkend and me and jennie got up singing ABBA had lots of fun cant wait to return in july cant reccomend this hotel enough Caz and ste Bolton
