I have previously stayed at Art BB, 4 times over the course of 2021/22 under its previous management, as I LOVED the hotel. I was very pleased to see it has reopened. I stayed on the night of Thursday 18th July and booked a suite on the 2nd floor with sea view. On checking in, the staff were very friendly and the previous bar room was being set up as a new cafe. The lady on reception stated the café was to open in the few days (it actually opened the following day). The room was brilliant, and the hotel is exactly as I remembered it from 2021/ 22. The only criticism of the room was, the room has a projector, and pull down screen, but no smart TV. A collection of dvds were supplied in room, but Id rather of had a smart TV option to watch on the pull down screen, such as Netflix's or Youtube. The carpet also had a stain which needs to be removed. Had a great nights sleep and enjoying using the bar in the room. Bathroom was brilliant and spotless clean. Room and bathroom are luxurious. On checking out the next day, the café had opened, and a sign was placed outside, advertising this cafe for walk-ins. The menu appears to be mainly cakes and coffees, and I think space is sub-let to a 3rd party. The hotel makes it clear it doesn’t serve breakfast. I think the hotel should offer guests a morning complimentary coffee and croissant (or similar) within the ground floor café, included into the price of the room. (I was offered a coffee when I checked in). I think there missing a trick not doing this at breakfast time as it would attract more guests, with minimal cost. I'm not suggesting they offer a full cooked breakfast, but some form of continental breakfast offer would be good. It’s also a pity this space is not used as a bar in the evening as it was previously. I have booked to stay again in October and hope a continental breakfast is offered by then.

What a lovely hotel this was, so pleased with its location & parking just along. The guy on reception was the loveliest, we stayed one Sunday night in a double suite just my boy & me. The guy was very welcoming, a little shy but lovely. He made me a complimentary coffee on arrival & got my son some biscuits. He then carried our case for us up the stairs to our room. The room was very pleasant & clean. Nicely presented, with a little surprise of a projector in the suite. Very ideal for what we wanted from an overnight stay including the most comfortable bed. Definitely a one I’ve recommended to people already & a one we will definitely go to again if we return to Blackpool once again. Overall great price for one nights Sunday stay too. Lovely decor! Very pleased 😀

Where to start, Check in 5+/5 Room 5+/5 Hotel 5+/5 Really well located, fresh and modern! Highly recommend. Will be staying here again in the future! It’s just lovely, staff friendly and very helpful. My room was a decent size, bathroom was small. However this is very common for blackpool so it was expected! Thank you can’t wait to stay again.

This place is back open under new management. It's gorgeous. So clean, nicely appointed, brilliant location & such nice touches. We stayed in the Willy Little room and loved sitting in the lounge looking out at the sea. Looking forward to staying there again!

I’ve stayed in a variety of places in Blackpool; I was intrigued by this one due to the ethos and the decor. In that respect it’s a lovely hotel, the rooms are quirky, clean and excellently appointed with a big bathroom and powerful shower. The room I stayed in was delightful with a fold down red velvet bench to watch films on a projector, should you feel so inclined. For a midweek stay I paid £76.50, which is in the higher price range for the area and therefore I expected it to be a boutique offering in other areas but didn’t really find this to be the case. I received an email before I arrived to advise that despite being named a B&B, there is no breakfast (I’ve seen elsewhere that they claim this is explicitly stated but could find no mention of this on the website or FAQs) however given there is a bar and lounge I expected to be able to get a coffee in the morning but this was all shut up. On a similar note, I was informed at check in that the bar shuts at 8pm, which I found really peculiar for a seaside hotel. As I was going out that evening I had no opportunity to even sit in there which was a shame (as I say, it appeared closed in the morning as well). In the absence of breakfast, which I gather from the reviews is a well trodden gripe, you would think they would have a better tea tray but no. A basic single packet of digestives and milk in sachets, no glasses or bottled water. Given the clientele this hotel could/should attract, I would expect this to be much better. I understand there’s a bottom line to be maintained, but personally I’d pay a few quid extra to feel a bit more special. I also found it bizarre that the tv only had what seemed to be American channels. I don’t go to hotels to watch tv either but a bit of Fraiser on Channel 4 of a morning in a hotel room is one of the simple pleasures in life. Having said all that, I really liked the place and would return, I just feel there are tweaks to be made to realise its potential.

Currently here lying In bed in the Mcclure room on my 40th birthday. This hotel is absolutely beautiful, as soon as we walked in I fell in love with this place, its by far the best hotel I've ever stayed in, in Blackpool! Yes the is no breakfast served but your in Blackpool their are plenty of cafe/restaurants around! The bar is not open due to licensing issues, also no big issue plenty of bars round the corner. The lady at reception I didn't get her name but she was so welcoming and nice, she was even helping the cleaner with the rooms because agency staff didn't arrive, she was lovely! I personally wouldn't rate Art BnB any less than a 5 for me I want cleanliness and comfort and that's exactly what we got with a bit of quirky added to it. The food and bar really isn't a big deal and it definitely wouldn't make me give them a less score. Give it a go check it out you will fall in love with the place.

Having stumbled on this hotel late (as we were not going to the Rebellion Festival this year) it was far more costly than the average B&B, but having said that, for Winter Gardens etc fantastic location and if you visit the website, you kind off get the feeling for the place so we thought why not ! Firstly, when we booked (in 2021 on ***********) it was clearly B&B, with the hotel advertising very appealing breakfast boxes which makes a welcome change from four days of the std fry up (not that there is anything wrong with that) also, the hotel looked to sport a lovely little bar and lifts to higher rooms which again was fantastic. However, my issues started when the Sunday before we travelled (we went Thursday-Sunday checked out 10am Monday morning) I contacted the hotel regarding parking, which they duly obliged (and later re-funded me back as I had to get the train down in the end) and after I enquired about the breakfast I was told that is no longer available. At no point did they contact us prior to this to inform us and at no point did they offer to reimburse us with the cost. Upon arrival, pleasant enough etc got checked in and we were on the top floor (the Queer room) which was fine, however the lifts were out of order (again no mention of this prior to arriving) so hauled our cases upstairs to the room. The 1st issue was the room (nice large comfy bed, lots of space) absolutely reeked of cigarettes, initially we thought this was because the room may have been directly under the smoking area , but after closing the window to stop the stench, we found that this was not the case. The smell in the bedroom area eventually went but it was particularly bad in the bathroom and despite our best efforts, the smell lingered all through our stay and was not pleasant. The other issue with the room (or house keeping) was a filthy towel, covered in someone's make up was left folded for us to use, we decided to leave to go out and presented it to the guy on the front desk who apologised and would have it replaced. We then proceeded to the bar where ........ you guessed it, they were not allowed to serve alcohol due to licensing issues, again, we were not informed of this at any point until we asked for a drink. They did mention that tea and coffee was available free (as it is in the rooms) and there a handful of muffins in a basket to have. Whilst it did spoil our stay somewhat, I feel as though I cannot totally slate the hotel because clearly there are some issues there (I did see other people complaining about things too) and I believe that if it was all on spec, as previous reviews then I would have no issues giving it 5 stars, however I am basing my review on my experience. The décor is great, nice look to it all and clearly it has some serious investment and I do so wish it all the success in the world and hope that it all gets sorted out
