Conveniently located near shops, pubs, beaches, and landmarks. The owners are exceptionally kind and accommodating, especially for guests with disabilities.

The hotel is really clean and the beds are really comfortable the owners work hard and I always return nearly every month and stay there because the hotel is close to the beach and restaurants and short distance from the train station and everything is only a walk away and if you need anything the owner is always on hand to help you out and that’s why they deserve 5stars from me Dave regular

Stay away until website is updated , it's not what you see , there's no option to order breakfast , but website says it does , the rooms need updating , there's no where to store clothes , only a hanger shelf with a few mismatched hangers , grubby walls , loose socket , the list goes on , tea bags that are not wrapped , the good thing was it was close to the tower, the reviews that say just 'good etc ' & no comments , makes you wonder, I hope they do take on the comments have left by so many and sort out and not be offensive to the comments

Pictures are fake and place is a dive wouldn’t even shower in the shower because it was manky rooms are dirty with dust everywhere once they’ve got your money they ain’t arsed. One lot of tea and coffee and milk on a 4 night stay not very good no change of towels or bedding either after 2/3 days

Avoid this place like the plague. I don't know where to start: Any good review of this place MUST be fake because we feel like we were catfished by this place. Be warned that none of the pictures online reflect this establishment. I believe they are either lifted from another hotel, or the images are from when someone else owned this place because they couldn't be more different. What hits you instantly is the smell, the strong odours of bleach, paint (even though nothing had been painted) and urine all combine to overwhelming effect. The rooms were disgusting, beds with mould, patches of plaster crumbling and thick layers of dust on every flat surface. The bathroom was similar, the toilet bowl was blackened and stained and obviously hadn't been cleaned in years, the shower head was black with filth and rot. The sink was filled with long black hairs and even the hand soap dispenser was crusted with filth. I can't believe that anyone could consider themselves a hotel operator and allow their establishment to get to such a disgusting and practically dangerous level of filth and decay. To top off the insult, there were in my opinion obviously fake thank you cards on the noticeboard in the lobby. Who would thank anybody for staying in this hellhole? A rat would turn their nose up at the filth inside. I sincerely urge anybody who considers this place to go ANYWHERE else. This is no contest the worst place I've ever had the misfortune of sleeping in in my entire life.

I booked a Double room-Superior-Ensuite-(Tower View). The owners were pleasant upon check-in. I had paid around £262 for 2 people for Thursday-Monday. There is no breakfast. The room was not what I consider superior and did have a strange smell to it. It was very dated and doesn't look like it has been refurbished for some time. Please see the photos I took. Yes, they are carpet covered bedside draws........ Even though I stayed for 4 nights, the room wasn't touched or cleaned at all during that period. It is very dated, had a decent view of the tower, but not somewhere I would go back. The photos on the website do not really represent how the hotel looks today.

The hotel was ideally located for us, 2 minutes walk from the National Express bus stop and 5 minutes walk from the Winter Gardens or beach. We were welcomed by the owner Arif, a very pleasant chap. He gave us our keys and up we went to room 6. We had booked a twin room for Rebellion festival and it only cost the 2 of us £250 for 5 nights in the middle of the summer, so our expectations were not high. The room was small with 2 single beds with nice bedding. I didn't have the courage to look under the top sheet and mattress cover judging by the grubby state of the sides of the divan base. The room was dusty, the skirting etc haven't seen a duster for many months. The one small chest of drawers contained stained ancient lining paper, one drawer had previous guests' rubbish in it and another, a loaf of bread which had a sell by date 7 days previously. The tv only seemed to work on a couple of channels as the remote control (which was dirty and greasy and had no battery cover) didn't work properly. We didn't use it at all though, so it didn't matter. The shower room was dusty with old fittings, poorly decorated but the shower worked well, the cubicle itself had lots of black mould in the silicon around the bottom, but the shower curtain was clean. The tiles in the room which I would imagine had similar mould between them had been painted, badly. The paint was flaking in places. You might ask why I didn't complain, well my mate and I were here for the festival and just wanted somewhere to rest our heads, which we got. If I had complained, probably little could have been done and we would have been out on the street with nowhere to stay. We coped! What I really object to though is the pictures advertised on this site are very old, probably taken shortly after it was last decorated properly, a very long time ago. Everything has substantially deteriorated since then. Just a little ps here, I messed up on our bus ride home, booking the wrong date, so we rushed back to the hotel. Sam and Arif happily allowed us back into our room for an extra night for £40. Very nice people, very accommodating.
