Vinnie's Family Hotel

My daughter and I stayed here overnight while she was attending a dance competition. The hotel was lovely. We were greeted with a smile by the owner, who was friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful. We had a spacious, sea view room. It was clean, large enough to sleep 5. The bed was very comfortable. We had plenty of hot drink supplies. The toiletries provided were fantastic. Very happy with the price and would be happy to return in the future. Thank you Vinnie's, it's been great.

Just back from an excellent 2 night break at this hotel with my partner. From the first moment we got to the hotel the host was friendly and helpful, allowing us to leave our luggage before checking in later. The check in was seemless and the host gave us all the information we needed for our stay. Our room was very clean and comfortable, the bed was extremely comfortable, especially as i have a long standing back problem. The value for money was superb, as is the location, being opposite Manchester Square tram stop and near good bars, such as Ma Kellys on the prom, which is only about 4 doors away. Will definitely stay again

Host was very friendly and welcoming, the room was spotless and looks brand new , the bed and furniture throughout looks brand new and carpets throughout look brand new , very stylish and well decorated wallpaper looks brand new and kids room had double bunk beds with tele on wall with mini foam sofa that folds out for kids to lay on which was a nice touch. Theres fans in both rooms also for when it gets hot. Plenty tea and coffee and they added extra next day which was lovely. The bathroom looks recently refurbished sink and toilet look brand new and shower also looks new or newish . Very stylish throughout. Plenty of coat hangers also look brand new .nothing to complain about in room only suggestion would be to add some board games for kids in their rooms would be a extra nice touch . also to finish the bar downstairs as unfortunately that wasnt open due to it still being refurbished and wasnt ready for guests.i would definitely book here again as its literally 5 minutes walk from central pier and sealife centre and arcades so cant get much better for location. If you book this hotel you wont be disappointed with the room as it was spotless and good size .definitely recommend others to stay and price was good , wasnt too expensive seemed fair price and location was spot on .

we were a party of 5 in blackpool for a birthday weekend ,the check in was quick after filling out a form room 3 was allocated to my partner which was up 1 flight of stairs the room was in fact a family room containing a double bed plus another room with 2 sets of bunk beds ,tea/coffee bath/shower ,electric fan controlled by remote and tv ,so the room was fine,cannot speak for other 2 rooms ,only that 1 room was up about 4 or 5 flights of stairs which was not ideal if you have walking issues,there are no lifts to ease this issue, the bar and lounge was not open so maybe its a summer thing only,hardly saw the owners during our 2 night stay which was not a problem,i would stay here again but would request a room that did not involve too many flights of stairs

Upon arrival we were met by a lady who wasn’t very welcoming. She basically gave us our keys and said put them in this box when you leave and we didn’t see her again. For the whole weekend we never seen anyone who worked there and nobody seen us out when we left to ask if we had a nice stay. It would have been nice to have a friendly face now and again. We went up the stairs to our room which had tape over the large holes in the carpet and was very scraggly and fuzzy on the sides where it met the wall. It was very worn (but again we know that it states online that the hotel is being refurbished, however had seen no signs of anything new whilst there). We walked into our room which was small (understand that you cannot change the size of the room) and basic but was ok for the amount of time we spent in there. Upon arrival into the room it smelt very unpleasant, a dog like smell. Despite this we didn’t complain as we understand it is a dog friendly hotel, however would be an idea to provide air fresheners and air the room out after each guest to prevent these smells. Apart from the dog like smell on arrival, the room was clean. The hotel is in an ideal location on the front and was in walking distance to the main attractions which is good especially for people who don’ want to or cannot walk very far. The main let down for us was that it wasn’t very welcoming. Having friendly staff around who are happy to help you and want to make your stay as lovely and relaxing as it can be, really makes a hotel.

Amazing little family run hotel , surprisingly nice for the price we paid, £35 a night , host was lovely and very helpful , very clean and cozy , quiet location , not far from local attractions, handy that the tram stopped right outside , will definitely recommend and return
