Branston Lodge

I had a reunion in Blackpool and my friend booked the 6 of us into the gem of a guest house . It is absolutely immaculate !! Jake was a Great host and looked after us like a friend Met a Dutch mum and son there who loved it there as well It’s a great location to 2 mins walk to the prom and the pleasure beach , street parking we had I got train only 10 mins walk to station . Breakfast was quality home cooking and was gorgeous All my mates loved Possibly the best Guest house in the world as the title would suggest !! So big thanks to Jake hopefully visit you again and I now see how you earned such amazing tripadvisor scores !!

Lovely clean and comfortable ensuite room. Great breakfast and fantastic hosts, very welcoming and even extended check in for our late arrival. Nothing too much trouble. Quiet in the evening. Hotel handy for the pleasure beach, tram stops, water park and south pier. Lovely walk to central pier and the Tower.

Fabulous Guest House. The rooms are clean, Chris and Nancy are so friendly, nothing is too much trouble and the breakfast is superb. Close to South Shore and within easy walking distance. The road is quiet in the evening, no traffic noise. We would definitely stay there again and certainly recommend.

Thanking Nancy and Jake for a fantastic weekend with the girls, we had a ball, thank you for all you done for us 👍👍 The rooms were clean and comfortable with a nice shower, the breakfast was delicious and plentiful and Nancy and Jake were the perfect hosts, very friendly and helpful, if we needed anything directions were to go they were always there for advice and best way to go.

Was delayed on arrival due to bad traffic phone and the staff/owner was very understanding booked a single room en-suite and the price was excellent for 3 nights breakfast was included and could choose what you like on your cooked English breakfast or cereals with tea and coffee On arrival was easy check in shown my room and what the keys did. Parking is on street only one side and is permit controlled if you speak to staff I was able to use there permit for duration of stay

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at Branston Lodge. Couldn't rate this lodge highly enough. We booked direct which gave us that personal touch and Chris kept us fully informed and even text to let us know our room was ready early if we wanted to arrive early. The lodge is in a great location away from all the hens/stags and so ideal for families and with parking available it was ideal. We received a really warm welcome and a quick check in then we were shown to our room on the first floor. Spacious family room with an en-suite and big bay window. Our room and the entire lodge was spotlessly clean and although we were only staying 2 nights, our room was restocked with tea/coffee and milk and bin emptied. We had breakfast included and were given an order form on arrival where you choose what would you would like for breakfast and the time you would like to go to the dining room. If you wanted something cooking that wasn't on the menu you just needed to complete the box with your choices. The cooked breakfast was really tasty and there was also cereal, toast and a fruit bowl. The kitchen is just off the dining room and Chris leaves the door open so he can check everyone has all they need, this offered such a personal touch. The water park, pleasure beach and South Pier are just a 5 minute walk down the road and just a little further along the sea front is a lovely Italian restaurant called Casa Franco which is easy to miss as it is set back from the road, but the food was amazing and made a nice change from chips! Overall I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lodge, especially for couples and families and when we next return to Blackpool we will definitely be booking. I would also highly recommend booking direct rather than through a 3rd party website.

Chris and Nancy gave us another warm welcome. The room was spacious and really clean. Ideal location for the pleasure beach and south pier. Breakfast very good. On site Parking a bonus. We will happily stay again.

If I could give this 10 I would from start to finish my experience was awesome. From meeting Chris the proprietor him explaining everything to me, I only wished I'd stayed put and not moved to be nearer where I needed to be, i will be back the breakfast was delicious even filtered coffee.

Just amazing . Second visit for us took our family with us this trip. Chris and Nancy go over and above as usual. Little touches like our 6 and 10 year old having Easter bunny's and eggs on the breakfast table for Easter Sunday. Hotel is immaculate and breakfast great. Highly recommend great location, great hosts and amazing accommodation couldn't ask for more xxx
