The Caledonian Tower Hotel

We had a lovely overnight stay at liberty's. Bedrooms were clean and beds were really comfortable. The breakfast was really nice, a good selection of foods and drinks. Staff were friendly apart from on our way home when a member of staff got a bit rude over parking ...we assumed parking was included in the hotel price but apparently it's not, so that's something to be mindful about...all in all it was an enjoyable stay and the hotel was only a few minutes walk from north pier .

Really was surprised how good the liberty hotel was , staff were friendly helpful and hard working. Room was clean & spacious, beds really comfy just needed another pillow . ☺️

Fantastic hotel staff are really friendly and accommodating any problems or requests for food are sorted straight away Nice location only a few minutes walk to the town or tram stop just round the corner The rooms are clean but dated beds are comfortable bathroom consists of toilet sink bath with shower There’s a small lift in the hotel which can get very busy during check in times Entertainment on a night was great along with the drinks vouchers Restaurant staff love a laugh and are really laid back breakfast on a morning was buffet style all you can eat scrambled eggs are always available you just need to ask for fried eggs or poached eggs Night time food is great 3 course meal couldn’t fault it at all if your a picky eater they can arrange for you to have something from the kids menu General manager mark was fantastic and is a real credit to Caledonian he helped make by autistic son feel very comfortable and safe during our stay We will definitely be back to stay soon

Booked with Caledonian travel 2 night 3 days looked it Was in room 207 beautiful seaview 2nd floor lift was a bit small to get in Entertainment was good with bingo Got four included drink after 3 olclock first day and second day 11 am olclock with the holiday inclusive . Breakfast was filling and nice But dinner abit small with the sea air I was hungry about 1 hour later ( was given a time for dinner so if your on last dinner you will be getting bad seats for the entertainment) Hotel is clean and think there updating room and very helpful ( vegetarian food 👍) Will be going back soooon

Just back from this hotel for a two night weekend. Had a lovely seafacing room double aspect so was lovely and bright. The staff, food, bar and entertainment were all smashing hotel is in a great location a short stroll into town. Will defo visit again thank you

Booked 1 night b&b room 218 wasn't good I'm afraid, bathroom not nice rusty bath dirty sealer, dirty tiles sink base awfull. Mattresses need replacement, the manager needs to visit this room to see what it's like. Didn't complain as only there one night . Reception & entertainment room was ok aswell as dining room . The staff were all polite , but felt sorry for barmaid she was serving bar aswell as delivering to tables at same time .

Travelled with caledionion 1 night stay 69 pounds each half board plus 4 drinks vouchers per person great value for money lovely sea view room no extra charge room clean and comfortable looked newly decorated bathroom a bit tired shower over bath didnt work evening meal okay great breakfast yes the hotel is tired but I believe caledionion will slowly work on the hotel to improve it over the coming months would definitely come back for a longer stay

a really enjoyable weekend clean room and public areas good food and entertainment but best of all the staff please pass on our thanks to your staff with a special mention for brogan she is a star an asset to your hotel

JUST RETURNED FROM A 4 DAY BREAK FRIDAY 26TH APRIL TO MONDAY THE 29TH. COULD NOT FAULT THE HOTEL, CLEAN ROOM, GREAT WALK IN SHOWER. HAD TO ASK RECEPTION FOR CLEAN TOWELS, COFFEE , MILK ETC AS ROOMS ARE ONLY CLEANED ON CERTAIN DAYS. APART FROM THOSE MINOR DETAILS I COULD NOT FAULT THE HOTEL. ALL MEMBERS OF STAFF VERY FANTASTIC, ESPECIALLY THE BOYS ON THE BAR, AND THE KITCHEN STAFF WERE AMAZING. FOOD DELIVERED VERY FAST AND PIPING HOT. LOVED THE BREAKFAST AND THE NIGHT TIME MEALS WERE LOVELY. CANNOT PRAISE THE STAFF ENOUGH ESPECIALLY THE KITCHEN STAFF WHO ARE DOING A WONDERFUL JOB. EVENING ENTERTAINMENT WAS OK, LOVED THE BINGO EACH NIGHT WITH GOOD MONEY PAYOUTS.. ONLY DOWNFALL IS LOCATION AS IT IS A BIT OF A DISTANCE TO THE CENTRE, NOT SUITABLE FOR PEOPLE WITH MOBILITY ISSUES, OK IF YOU WANT TO USE THE TRAM OR BUS ETC. WE ARE RETURNING IN JUNE FOR A FIVE DAY STAY TO THIS HOTEL AS WE REALLY DID HAVE A WONDERFUL STAY AND MET SOME LOVELY PEOPLE.
