Horseshoe Black Hawk

This Ceasars property needs a little TLC. ****** was fun! House won this time but we'll definitely be back to gamble. Room was really nice and upgraded. Our window was broken so it didnt close and the screen was missing completely. Carpets on the 8th floor looked dated with lots of tape to cover tears and seams. Overall we had a great time.

Not much wrong but didn't vote my mind. I got a Jr Suite but it was about the same as in upgraded Holiday Inn King. I don't mean that disrespectful it just didn't make blow mind. Good for a stopping off for me!

Very unhappy at the hotel. Never again will I stay at this Property. The Lead manager at the front desk did not really care what my concern was when i talked to her in person. I needed a handicap wheelchair accessible room. The bed was way to high off the ground. I wasnt able to use and sleep in the bed. Manager said that was standard height for handicap bed. For someone that cant stand out of their wheelchair, there was no way to climb up onto the bed. Also the toilet seat was broken too in the bathroom. When asked to see about getting it fixed. Manager didnt seem to care and all she wanted was to clock out. She kept telling us she is trying to clock out and go home. Wasnt impressed at all for the lead managers behavior. I ended up sleeping on the couch that was in the hotel room because only other alternative I had to lay down. Couch was terrible too by the way. Never again I will support this specific hotel again.

Only complaint was the hallways going to rooms…… pieces of carpet were duct taped together

Elevator key only worked on 2 of the elevators...If the desk had told me about that I would be fine, but not a word!

There are 4 elevators that bring guest from the ****** and lobby to the guest rooms. You have to use a key card to access the room floors. Safe right? Unfortunately the elevators broke during our stay. Only one was operational during our stay. Making a 20 minute wait to get up to your room. Also the ****** is open to the public. So since the elevators were overloaded with people only one key card was activating the floors making it possible for anyone guest or not, to access the guest floors. When I asked if there were stairs the associate said only to the parking floors which separate the guest floors and ****** and lobby. Won’t be staying again.
