Beautiful setting. Kanawa Bay is idyllic. It's modern and well planned. The hotel is surrounded by water & beautiful walls. The hotel has free parking and a cozy cafe which doubles up as the breakfast area and general dining area- it has limited seating capacity. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable & quiet. There's even a filter water cooler on every floor that dispensers clean cool water. The rooms only lack night lights. Breakfasts are cooked well & very tasty. There are plenty of local eateries in the surroundings around the hotel that are well worth checking out. Coles and Aldi are located within walking distance at the Stockland Birtinya shopping center.

Very comfy and quiet stay. The lady at the reception was very friendly. Nearby thai restaurant was really yum.

The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The girls making the coffee in the morning were not so friendly though and took 40 minutes to make two coffees. You will need a car to go anywhere as there isn't much to do within walking distance and no real communal areas to enjoy each others company besides the restaurant. Perfect for business trips more than a family getaway.

Cosy and relaxing hotel just right in front of the lovely lake. Friendly staff whom made our stay a pleasant one. It was a leisure 10 mins walk to the nearby shopping mall with Coles supermarket etc. Love the breakfast spread, while enjoying the morning scenery 🌸🌸

Was a very good hotel. We only stayed 1 night as we were going to see a show in caloundra. Perfect if you need to be near the hospital or the sunshine coast stadium. Only downside was lack of a pool but the beaches arent that far away

Awesome place to stay

We enjoyed our stay at the Mercure. Everything we needed was provided. We liked the shampoo amd conditioner along with the mini bar goods. The room was clean and orderly. Staff were polite. We would be happy to stay again.

The quality of this hotel is like a motel. The bad things include dirty toilet lip, broken bin, stupid designed bathroom door (hitting the shower cabinet glass with broken resistence) and curtain position (translucent curtain is not facing to the window), only one room card provided for 2 visitors (my partner had to come with me when I go down), only one manual door opened at night (difficult to move luggages) etc.

Staff were very friendly. The beds and pillows were amazingly comfortable!! Loved our one night stay.

We had a lovely short stay. The room and customer service was amazing. Breakfast was beautiful right on the waterfront. Super close to shops, restaurants and the nightquarter which made for a nice night out. Would highly recommend for a short getaway if you’re looking for peace and quiet.

The room is clean and comfortable, and the price/performance ratio is reasonable. The surrounding environment is very good, and it is a 10-minute walk from the shopping center. It is worth recommending.

Very cozy room. The small hotel downstairs has a very nice environment and the taste is amazing! It is very expensive, 80 knives a meal 😂 It is a bit far from mooloolahba, it takes 20 minutes by car The service feels so-so

There is no separation of wet and dry in the bath, and it is easy to get water everywhere
