Went for afternoon tea today the 5th October it was absolutely amazing, the food was gorgeous and the staff are excellent especially Marina who looked after us so well . We had it in the potting room which was fabulous fire on so nice and cosy would highly recommended it for a treat or birthday can’t wait to go back well done to all the staff and management

We held our wedding in this beautiful hotel may 2024 From the minute we stepped into this amazing hotel we both knew we were going to book for our up coming wedding. The staff,and the management are on a different level from any other hotel we have ever stayed , so friendly and welcoming honestly the staff are a credit to this hotel. Our wedding day was perfect. DEE SMYTH the wedding co- ordinator is an angel she went above and beyond for us. From the minute we booked our wedding right up to the day we left after our wedding she minded us both with care and affection we will be forever grateful DEE. The wedding day was beautiful and everything we imagined, our guest were so well looked after the food the amazing drinks reception was more than we ever expected. Massive shout out to conor the manager thank you for everything you were brilliant thank you. For anyone looking for an amazing wedding book here Lynda and Catherine ❤️

Had a wonderful dinner in a beautiful restaurant and the service was lightening fast and very friendly. The food was top quality and based on our experience will definitely be returning. A lot of work put into this hotel and it's evident. Some beautiful features outside the hotel.

Fantastic staff. Great room and excellent service all round. Interesting town to visit. Trip Advisor want me to write more but I think you get the gist of our visit. Why I can't sign out until I have written 200 words is a bit of a pain Trip Advisor - get someone to sort this out and be a bit more realistic.

From the time we booked out the whole hotel, the Reservation Manager was fantastic to work with - any queries were dealt with efficiently. From coaches arrival to hotel, check in, accommodation, meals in banqueting suite, staff, music ...., no fault could be found anywhere in 4 nights be stayed. All Senior Citizens had a fabulous stay and that was down to friendly staff and Management. Its one location and hotel where they mentioned that they would love to return to themselves with their families.

We stayed in a standard twin room, which was lovely and nicely decorated, with a double and a twin bed. The room was very clean, and the hotel's overall decor was very stylish. The staff were outstanding—so friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. Highly recommended!

4 of us stayed in 2 rooms last Friday. It was the best…. a hidden gem in the Midlands. From the fabulous staff , bar staff to staff working in Breakfast room and bedrooms. I have never encountered such wonderful staff. All so charming and very professional at their work.

Top notch hotel in a great location. The rooms were neat, clean and very comfortable, and the restaurant and bar environment were very fun. I enjoyed both dinner and the Sunday breakfast, both were excellent. In addition, the gym, pool and sauna area were also very pleasant. I would highly recommend the County Arms Birr

Great food. Spacious, comfortable rooms, friendly helpful staff. Would definitely recommend. A terrific venue for small or large weddings and events. The grounds are immaculate and well worth a walk around. Fantastic location just a few minutes walk from Birr town centre.
