We held our wedding in this beautiful hotel may 2024 From the minute we stepped into this amazing hotel we both knew we were going to book for our up coming wedding. The staff,and the management are on a different level from any other hotel we have ever stayed , so friendly and welcoming honestly the staff are a credit to this hotel. Our wedding day was perfect. DEE SMYTH the wedding co- ordinator is an angel she went above and beyond for us. From the minute we booked our wedding right up to the day we left after our wedding she minded us both with care and affection we will be forever grateful DEE. The wedding day was beautiful and everything we imagined, our guest were so well looked after the food the amazing drinks reception was more than we ever expected. Massive shout out to conor the manager thank you for everything you were brilliant thank you. For anyone looking for an amazing wedding book here Lynda and Catherine ❤️

Great food. Spacious, comfortable rooms, friendly helpful staff. Would definitely recommend. A terrific venue for small or large weddings and events. The grounds are immaculate and well worth a walk around. Fantastic location just a few minutes walk from Birr town centre.

The County Arms Hotel is a very nice hotel in the Georgian Town of Birr. Birr is a very interesting historical town with a castle and large gardens. It has a historical telescope at the castle. It is a well preserved Georgian town. Birr is in the centre of Ireland and is a great base to explore other parts of the country. The hotel has very helpful and friendly staff. There is an excellent restaurant and bar on site. There is also a pool and spa. It has all the facilities that you would expect in a hotel in a much larger city.

We stayed here for the second time although we have visited previously. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We required an accessible room and it provided everything we needed for someone with reduced mobility

Fabulous hotel. We stayed here on one of their 3 night special offers and found it to be excellent value for money. The room and the hotel were spotless and the food was excellent. The most impressive thing was the staff. Everyone that we interacted with from the Duty Manager down was friendly, professional, and willing to stop and chat with us. Its great to see that Irish hospitality is still alive in this hotel.

We found the hotel excellent for our one evening group booking. Food, quality of rooms, service and friendliness of staff all top quality. The location was suitable as we were golfing in Portumna.

Had a wonderful overnight stay, wish it had of been for longer. Ate in Hackett’s and had a beautiful meal. Enjoyed cocktails in the garden. Wonderful experience. Utilised the pool as well. Will definitely return. Staff attentive and friendly.

We stayed for a friend's wedding and we were so impressed overall with the hotel. The entrance, grounds, and garden were so stunning and perfectly kept. Especially at night time when it was all lit up. The wedding ceremony room and bedroom were gorgeous. The food was beautiful, and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back again.
