The Bournbrook Inn

Located close to Cadbury world and shops, we asked for a quiet room but was given a very noisy room with people creeping the floorboards above us walking up the stairs behind our beds and noisy hand dryers from the public toilets behind the bed. Which meant we had a very broken nights sleep even with ear plugs in.

It was perfect me and my daughter. We enjoyed the very clean descent room

Overall experience staying in this hotel for 2 night is not bad . Good .

Fantastic hotel would defo recommend very clean rooms and close to train station and Cadbury World

Be aware, there is a £10 parking charge for residents. Stayed here quite often in the past, last visit had to register vehicle, as they have brought a parking company in this time they are charging residents £10 for overnight parking. Really surprised at cost, this is a pub and restaurant too, can't see how it will be sustainable with that sort of parking charge.

Room is very basic and in excellent location for what I needed being close to family Our room had glass in the floor on arrival and the toilet seat was severely cracked which we didn’t notice until children had been put to bed and we was offered another room but swapping room wasn’t an option as the other room was on the top floor and children where already asleep , the glass was quite large chunks which had been missed as was beside the beside cabinet and I was able to pick them up myself cleanliness was ok but could be cleaner carpets wasn’t vacuumed very well , bathroom was clean but as mentioned toilet was damaged and quite dangerous and if sat on would cause damage to skin Bed was clean but possibly the worst bed I’ve ever slept in , lumpy horrendous mattress Safety is a bit of a concern as the main door to hotel is open all night and not always manned so anyone can enter and wander around which caused me some concern Over all the hotel is cheap and basic and was a clean bed for a night wouldn’t recommend for a nice stay away but suitable for a overnight cheap bed
