We stayed for 3 nights. Rooms were as expected for a 2 star hotel and we will stay again as they accept dogs and it is just up the road from my parents house. We booked an accessible room for myself (hidden disabilities) as I struggle with moving from seating to standing without getting dizzy so need hand rails in bathroom and need a shower seat. We also booked one for Mother in Law who is recovering from a hip replacement. Despite booking double beds for both rooms we were given twin beds pushed together which were too low down for me and which due to the gap in the middle caused me a very painful first night. We were told it would get changed and MILs was changed first day but ours wasn't as we had left a blanket on the bed. So we were told it would get changed the next day and it wasn't as he apparently hadn't seen us go out for the day. On leaving he tried to suggest we shouldn't have had accessible rooms if we needed a standard double as disabled people needed the lower twin beds. The shower was missing buttons so I couldn't control the temperature very well. The shower flooded and did not go down during the day but the night time staff were super friendly and mopped it up. I accidentally pulled the emergency cord in the bathroom (hard to tell the difference in the dark between the white light cord and the red cord which were on either sides of the door). The staff were there within 3 minutes. The disabled parking is the furthest away from the entrance so if you need it for distance rather than wheelchairs it is a problem

I have travelled all over the world staying in hotels from the cheapest to some of the most expensive. I have never left a review anywhere good or bad until now. The staff at Hall Green, Birmingham during my brief stay were exemplary ; they treated me and other guests better than most 5 star hotels. So pleasant and professional. The little things are important being acknowledged whilst waiting, with a smile and a ” be with you in just a minute”, serving tables with such a lovely attitude. But what they did for one elderly guest was so kind and caring, this lady obviously had mobility and other issues. They cut up her food and even buttered her toast because she was struggling. But all with a smile and no drama. Well done Premier Inn your staff at this hotel are fantastic

Hotel is a little bit dated but very handy Location for anyone attending the NEC. Bus brings you right to the door. It seems to be co-joined to a restaurant and although the Hotel doesn't do breakfast, you can get breakfast there for a very reasonable price.

great value for money and ideal location but unfortunately the AC didn’t work and, with the days being about 25° recently, this wasn’t ideal and meant we had to simply open the window. the issue was that it’s located on a massive roundabout and so was very noisy all through the night due to traffic, particularly from about 5am onwards where many people were driving to work etc. if the AC would’ve worked, it would’ve been perfect but it just blew out hot air even on the coolest setting! also has to pay for parking of which i haven’t had to do at a hotel’s car park before when staying with the so personally found this a little odd. the room and hotel in general was very clean, however, and the receptionist was so warm and welcoming, i wish i had asked his name now! for £60 a night, not bad but a little disappointed with the AC :( free wifi though so that was a bonus! :))
