Location is perfect and the reason we chose this site, however the facilities are very basic and not particularly clean. We left early morning after an overnight stay to avoid using the showers. They were dirty and so small you couldn’t get changed without your towel or clean clothes touching the toilet that everyone uses. The glamping pod itself was well set up and had everything you needed, however a couple of broken slats that kept slipping off everytime I got up and behind the bed was filthy. I can’t comment on the kitchen as I didn’t use it but the facilities would stop me staying again which is a shame as the site is in such a great location.

A very well organised campsite in a great remote location. Lovely walks and day trips to Margate. Plenty of toilets and loo roll clean and tidy. My low rating is due to the stables next door. Every night of our 3 night stay a large dog barked constantly on and off from 4am. Echoing around the stables making it impossible to sleep. We were exhausted. I felt very sorry for the dog. When it wasn't barking it was a VERY peaceful site.

we visited recently.. it’s a quiet site for tents, caravans and motor homes. negatives are not enough toilets/showers but we managed ok as never seemed busy when we went to them and were clean. the washing up facilities could be improved, one sink, no hot water just a kettle. if this is improved it will make such a difference. a dog barks a lot that lives in the stables, sometimes at night. we love dogs though and didn’t mind in the day. positives are it’s in a lovely area , it’s very quiet and so near to the beach. we took our bikes and cycled too. electric pitches. really quiet at night, no clubhouse which is great. we only heard the odd train at night. we had a lovely time, would def return as we like this type of camping. to those that love a different style of camping this place isn’t for you but for those like us that like it quiet and peaceful near the sea this is perfect. thankyou for a peaceful few days.

Very close to the sea but below sea wall level so good protection from the wind off the sea. Loved the pod, comfy bed, TV, Fridge and Microwave a real bonus. We forget to bring a duvet but we mentioned it to the lady and we were provided with one soon after. Thank you so much for that. The washroom facilities are basic but functional and clean. A nice walk / cycle away from Minni's bay and the excellent restaurant and bar Minni's.

10 min walk to the beach which is dog friendly, it's a shame you have to walk round and there isn't direct access but still very close. If you walk another 10 mins there is a superior sandy beach which is more touristy. Nice big plots and friendly staff. Very dog friendly and only a 15 min lovely beach walk to cafe's and a pub in minnis bay

We had amazing time - a large, quiet and family friendly camping. A huge tent pitch, fridge and electric kettle available. There are only two showers but we never had to wait to use it for longer than a few minutes. Fantastic walking and cycling routes, close to the beach and not that far away from the shops and restaurants. Reasonable prices.

I wish I had seen reviews previously the camp site was awful with stench from the chemical dump area toilets were ok and clean and the shower but the area by our site was covered in barbecue burnt coals but the worst thing was there were 18 plus dash hounds which seem to have been spread between 5 vans one van was next to us with 6 dashounds in pens outside yapping continually when I phoned the owner she said it is a dog friendly site if you don’t want yapping dogs don’t come here

Only 4 toilets and 2 showers , nowhere near enough and not very clean due to the amount of people having to share ! Toilet waste go in big above ground storage tanks that you have to remove lid and smell days of effluent that’s been sitting in the sun, says dogs are welcome on website ,on arrival noticed they have sign say dogs must be kept on leash this rule does not seem to apply to the many permanent caravans, but I was reprimanded for having my dog off because “he’s a bit big” .grass needs cutting, bins need emptying all in all a very poorly kept campsite, also the house on site keep chickens so you wake up to a very loud cock a doodle do ! Every 10 seconds from 5am till 11am and farm dog barking at 3am.

Refreshing change from the military style barrack setup of the various caravan clubs sites. Relaxed easy family site next to no onsite traffic - so safe for kids. At the end of a long private lane - away from the main roads, tucked in behind the sea wall. Facilities fine, only one washing up sink but almost everyone there had there own facilities anyway - nothing a bowl and a kettle of hot water at your tent/van couldn’t resolve. Beach is literally 2 minutes walk from the main gate and then a short pleasant walk to minnis bay along the sea wall - pub, beach bars and cafe/shops. Sandy and pebble beach - shallow and safe. Definitely be back again.
