1. good encironments and the facilities are not new but acceptable. 2. The most pity stuffs are Monopoly by the owner even the excuse is away from reasonable (private resorts) - no access to public taxi service say grab. Again the reason we told is the Nirwana resort is private one - due to the monopoly, there is limited restaurants for options: the one for breakfast (level 1). The one above the one for buffet (level 2) and Kelong restuarant facing the sea - the outstanding outcome from the monopoly is the pretty higher price for foods...I expect to have lunch at Kelong restaurant and in the end back after checking out the price in menu. Actually during the lunch time, there is no people having dinner except 1 or 2 guest to check out the good view facing the sea...pity !!! The postiive goes to some entertainment or activotoes in the hotel say swimming in outdoort pool. Sands and Bowling etc..... My proposal for their management is to open the service to guests in their hotel so there is more options even I will never come back to the hotel in Bintan...I has been to Batam before and the experience is better.... Neat little boutique resort with very pleasant staff. Very serene environment wthout noisy families and children.. surrounded by plenty of mangrove habitat within the property. Outside the property, you can cycle to rustic local villages and fisherman wharf (15mins walk away). Could hv been better if wifi is more stable. Electricity tripped once when we were there for 3D/2n..and if there is a.mini-fridge in the room, it would be perfect. Otherwise, all facilities are good enough. Menu serves a variety of western, indonesian and some chinese food but your best choice would be their yummy indonesian selection. Basic water activities eg swimming pool overlooking the sea, kayaking and other on-site tours are available. For kids: small slides, swings, see-saw, small animals eg rabbits, cats and chickens. Entertaintment: simple board games, uno, darts etc

Beautiful & unspoilt location to get away from it all! The property is located on this stunning beach with an infinity pool to enjoy the views, together with the well kept gardens or beach to lie back & totally relax! The beach villa is well worth the extra & enjoys a comfortable rustic style with the view & gentle sounds of the ocean. The rustic style continues throughout with a picturesque decking accommodating the restaurant. The menu is varied, reasonable & we enjoyed exceptional dishes every time. The staff are all very friendly & welcoming at every encounter, particularly Anuar who is an absolute delight with such a cheerful & friendly nature, always wanting to make sure that his guests are enjoying their stay. We highly recommend this resort & island - it’s just a short ferry ride from Singapore & approx 50 minute taxi ride but you get to see the island at the same time too. Thanks for the earlier recommendation re: Taxis too. Don’t go for the ones immediately as you come through customs & immigration, but those just as you exit. (Barter too, as we paid 250,000 Ind Rupiat each way plus tip).

Biru is the villa area of Nawan Garden. The environment is very good. The waiter sent us to the door of the room with great enthusiasm. The single bed in the bedroom is a bit small and can only sleep one adult. If there are many people, you can put the two single beds together. The bathroom is a bit simplistic, if you need a comb toothbrush you can call. The overall feeling in Bintan is that people are very good. Even if the communication is not too smooth, they will not bother to explain. My request is to know one or two keywords. The only regret is that I saw a mini zoo in Nawan, I wanted to take the children to the waiter and told me that I was gone.

It was very nice. The location is about 45 minutes from the ferry port but that means it is quiet and relaxing which is exactly what we wanted. The staff were friendly and attentive. We tried as much as we could from the menu and it was all great. The crêpes for breakfast were especially good.

My stay at ROKA Resort in Bintan was simply unforgettable, and this was largely due to an incredible meeting with Sophie, the manager of ARKASIA – Animal Rescue Kingdom Asia. From the moment we arrived, ROKA Resort enveloped us in an atmosphere of serenity and luxury. Nestled in the heart of beautiful nature, the resort offers a perfect setting to relax while being in harmony with the environment. The cherry on the cake was our meeting with Sophie, a passionate and dedicated person for the animal cause. Her work with ARKASIA is simply admirable. She enthusiastically told us about the efforts made to protect and rescue animals in Asia, showing us the importance of preserving local wildlife. Her passion is contagious, and she gave us an inspiring insight into her daily work and the challenges she brilliantly overcomes. This moment added a unique dimension to our stay, allowing us to see beyond the idyllic setting of the resort to discover a noble and inspiring cause. ROKA Resort is not only a place of rest and relaxation, but also a place where you can make meaningful and enriching encounters. I highly recommend this resort to anyone who wants to have an authentic and unforgettable experience in Bintan.

Originally I booked the unit with sea view at Indra Maya Villa but there are steps to reach the villa. But with a wheelchair-bound elderly, we had to cancel and booked KWA Villa directly from the Resort. KWA villa seems to be the only one with direct access without steps. KWA Villa has beautiful layout especially the private pool and sea view. Also have a personal buggy provided. Also a nice pavilion - perfect for quiet time. The outdoor sofa should have proper shelter. When the rain came, the sofa was all soaked wet. Insufficient lighting within the living/dining room. Estate maintenance is poor. Lots of mosquitoes. The Resort doesn't provide insecticide. On Sunday morning, we are deprived of water supply in the Villa because the pipe burst outside the Villa. So we could not swim because we could not use the bathrooms. Housekeeping is generally ok. Even beach towels. Kitchen has utensils & crockery but the bowls, knife and ladle missing. The staff especially Ahmad who drive the buggies and vans are attentive and dedicated. Ahmad pushed my mother's wheelchair to/fro road/villa through the rain and was drenched despite the umbrella. The breakfast food selection limited. With limited guests, the buffet became a ordering system. We had to order from the system.

Good value for money, the environment is OK

I really want to take a quick trip, pack my bags and set out lightly, go to the mountains, forests and seaside, look at the blue sky, embrace the sea, and enjoy the sunshine. In fact, we are traveling all the time. In our hearts, in the broader world, there is the future you yearn for. The waiters in this hotel are all polite, warm and thoughtful, and the hotel is magnificently decorated.
