Excellent service from the concierge to the servers to the spa staff. They are also very accommodating. They made an effort to speak in english eventhough I spoke in their local language. Also fast responses when we communicated via email. Liked the room I was given as well due to the unobstructed view of the sea. However, The resort could use with more lights at the pathway as its still quite dark when walking about the resort at night.

As a first time solo traveler, I would say I did not have anything planned the moment I reached the resort.
But my goal for this trip was mainly a getaway from everyday city life and it did reach my purpose.
There are activities that can be in and around the resort.
First time tried kayaking and archery.
All the staffs were super friendly. From reception, activities, restaurant staff until check out.
I went during an off peak season, so even passing by a staff at the lobby of the Lotus Cafe, I was shocked that I was greeted by the staff with my name.

get food and living conditions within the resort, but not much to do outside or nearby
bring insect repellent as places in tropical climate usually have mosquitoes
bring sunblock if you are concern of getting sunburn while out on the beach

2. 订单上显示可以late check out before 2pm, but the reception staff told me must check out before 12noon, the room provide to other people. Then what’s the point late check out? ? 😑🤡

I thoroughly enjoyed my whole time at Angsana Lagoi, Bintan. The staff and the service are outstanding. The amenities are acceptable. Regarding the food room service, the portions are ample, and it's tasty. Also, the breakfast buffet. I enjoyed it. I highly suggest it and plan to return. The team is genuine and consistently supportive. Thank you. ^^

We went there in 2018, the facilities are slightly run down though the room are still nice. We took a family suite for 6 pax.
The restaurant for the dining needs improvement haven’t changed since 2018.
However, we went there for my husband’s 40th birthday i had informed them in advanced and received this nice surprise.
Overall it’s still nice for families with kids.
