The room was nice, one queen bed and one bunk bed. Two big and two small are just right. The breakfast is considered normal. There is a children's play area in the restaurant, where children can play, and adults can have a solid meal. The hotel's outdoor garden also has a large play area for children. Cross the path to Legoland. Lego House is not too far away, just 5 minutes by car.

The room is super big, breakfast is included, the morning is not bad, but more than 400 euros a night is really expensive, there are no facilities for children to play in the hotel lobby, there are children's play facilities outside. The park must be open until 8 o'clock, but the game is basically closed at 6 o'clock. After 6 o'clock, remember to have dinner in the park, otherwise there is nothing to choose outside.

The playground was big, and our kids had lots of fun. Also, the castle looks amazing and the room was big and comfortable. For us the adults, we enjoyed the buffet during dinner time, although the food was always the same. Great beer and wine selection.
Response from Property: Hi :) Thank you very much for your kind feedback. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again some other time. Best regards, Jakob, LEGOLAND

Location: The location is very good, close to parks and supermarkets. The hotel is close to public transportation, which makes it easy to get around the city. Additionally, you can walk but it is not a good idea to do with very young kids walking. Infrastructure: There are two buildings with two themes (wizard and warrior) but only the warrior unit offers a reception and restaurant, which was disappointing and made us request a room change to the other building. It has an elevator and stairs with good accessibility for people with reduced mobility. Service: The staff was very helpful and friendly. In general, the employees were polite and welcoming. Room: The rooms were clean and the cleaning routine was also carried out without problems. However, the bathrooms did not have the kits commonly found in hotels, such as shampoo, conditioner, shower caps, and other items, limited to toilet paper, hand soap, and body wash. Breakfast: The meals had regular options of fruits, breads, cheeses, cold cuts, and proteins. Juices, milk, teas, and coffees were also available. Overall, they tasted good and the environment was clean and organized. Cost-benefit: Overall, we considered the stay to be good value for money if we don't consider the need to eat at the hotel other than the included breakfast, as the dinner was not worth the price and was very disappointing.
Response from Property: Dear robsonc378, Thank you very much for your kind feedback. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay at LEGOLAND Castle Hotel and hope to see you again some other time. We have noted your comment regarding the dinner buffet. Best regards, Sabrina , LEGOLAND

Such a gorgeous hotel! We stayed in a 6-bed Knights Deluxe room, which is in the Knights Hotel. There are two separate buildings - one is the Knights Hotel where the main reception and the restaurant is - the other is the Wizard Hotel, which just contains rooms. It is a 1-min walk from one to the other, but you need to exit the building and walk outside. The 6-bed room was huge - a large double bed and 2 sets of bunk beds in a separate sections of the room, so good privacy for both groupings! The beds themselves were quite soft, but that might suit some people. There was a tv opposite the main bed and again by the bunk beds. Breakfast is buffet-style, with a wide variety of fruit, cheese, bread, cereal, juice and hot food. There is a small playroom with lego and Nintendo games within the restaurant. There is a "treasure hunt" for kids to find out the code for the locker in the room with little Lego bags inside as a prize, and a larger treasure hunt where they have to find letters scattered around the grounds to make up a word. There are 3 prizes each day for this, as well as a Lego-building prize. We booked a taxi to the airport via the hotel reception as we were leaving in the middle of the night - the taxi did not show up but reception immediately called another one instead which was there within 5 minutes. It is very child-friendly, very clean, and we really enjoyed our stay!

We loved everything about this hotel. Everything is themed, down to the plates and the black cutlery. The bedroom was big with plenty of space, spotlessly clean, and comfortable. I can’t even single out a member of staff as everyone we met was friendly and helpful. Our children loved the competitions, treasure hunts, and Lego in the room. We also ate in the Knights Tavern twice - the food was the same, but was tasty and plentiful. There was a huge wine buffet and beers could be ordered at the bar. We will hopefully be back to visit another time.

The restaurant is a big misunderstanding. No option for room service or simple menu to choose. Only a buffet forcing you to pay a constant and high price for things for sure you won't eat. Monopoly because no other restaurants near to the castle hotel.
Response from Property: Hi. First of all thank you for your time to give us some feedback. We will take it to consideration for upcoming seasons :) I hope you enjoyed your overall stay at LEGOLAND Billund. Best regards, Jakob

Rooms were clean and absolutely amazing. Check in experience was not so great. We were not even greeted, but had to checkin to a computer. We paid an aweful lot of money for Knight's Tavern restaurant, but dinner was very disappointing! Overall an unforgettable experience due to the themed rooms and Lego everywhere! :)
Response from Property: Dear henry_the_traveller, Thank you for your kind feedback. We are sorry to hear that the stay/visit did not live up to your expectations. We hope you addressed the issues with the staff, so they had a chance to improve them immediately. If you wish to elaborate your experience, please send us an e-mail: info[at]legoland.dk Best regards, Sabrina, LEGOLAND

It is just across the legoland entrance. However when we arrived at 27 Dec morning the hotel still closed. So we had to wait outside the door till 10.15 one of the staff open the door and said they will open at 12 but she let us store our luggage in the store room. So we could go to the park till the check in time. The room is huge (because it was only 4 of us but we book the room for 6). So there is 1 king size bed and 2 bunk beds. It is clean. The view from the room is nice as well because we can see legoland and the hotel yard Breakfast is just standard selection and taste but have gluten free breakfast. They have lego room so the kids could play the lego and nintendo during breakfast. It was fun to have so many kids in the room because it really feels like a family hotel.
Response from Property: Hi :) Thank you for your time, to give us some feedback :) I am very happy that you had a nice stay here at LEGOLAND. It was unfortunate that the hotel was closed when you arrived, but good you found a solution with the castle hotel about storing your luggage, so you could go to the park and have fun :) We hope to welcome you to LEGOLAND again some day :) Best regards, Jakob, LEGOLAND.

Beds are comfortable, staff are helpful and speak English. Food is delicious. You can eat as much as you like at the castle buffet and includes wine for adults. Castle Legoland has no separate entrance for Legoland like hotel Legoland. 6mins away from airport by bus. And bus stop outside hotel. Everything was so easy. Do go to Lego House it's so amazing and 20 minutes walk from hotel through a beautiful sculpture park.

One of the best experience we had as a family. Staff at the hotel were very attentive. One specially, wish l knew her name, went far and beyond to get us tickets to Leto House that appeared at their websites tickets sold out. Breakfast is a buffet with lots varieties and lively Everything is close by. LEGOLAND, Lego House and Lalandia. All with walking distance. We dare to say that we even walked to the airport which is 30 minutes walk.

A great two night stay with our young children. There is something to look at and do for adults and children in this really fun hotel. There is lego everywhere to play with and during dinner there is an area that the kids can use while the adults sit in peace. We slept really well and would return.

My kids were so excited to go to Legoland and stay at the Castle Hotel. I was nervous that it would be in someway disappointing given how excited they were but it wasn't. We all loved it. We stayed in the Wizards castle which meant that we had to walk across to the Knights castle for breakfast and dinner. But that made it more fun as they would look at the Lego and Halloween display and hear the music that plays when you pass. They enjoyed the dinner buffet as did we. It is a bit overpriced but has a good selection. My husband is gluten intolerant and he also had a good selection of food to choose from. All the staff were welcoming and friendly.
