Loved the cool minimalist design of this hotel in a historic building with historic details. The staff is very nice and the rooms are very comfortable. The area is very central with an easy walk to dining, bars, shopping, transportation and the new city. It was nice to view the river, the bridges and the Bilbao hills right from the room. The city market is also very close. It is a great introduction to the city.

Very good with a remark
Service really great. They help with the luggage to parking, welcome cava, nice room, tasty a la carte breakfest.
Just at check out , they ask you if you want to leave tip... never in my life saw that scenario... in my opinion its a shame for 4 star hotel which is close to 5 stars in every aspects.
Its like doorman standing with a hat and asking for money...

I stayed here one night with my husband for my birthday and it was sooo lovely! The staff immediately made it feel like a welcoming place, it was super clean and comfortable, and the location was walking distance to tons of restaurants and things to do. I hope to be lucky enough to visit Bilbao again and especially to stay at Hotel Takyo. Thank you!
