This is our second stay at Hotel Settles. It has become a regular stopping point for our annual trip from Dallas to Ruidoso. The renovations that have been done to restore this historic landmark are spectacular. Everything is modern while retaining the 100 year old charm of the hotel. If you have reason to stop over between Abilene and Odessa, I'd always recommend a night at the Hotel Settles. ....... There's absolutely nothing to do in Big Spring, so you can relax.

This hotel should be considered three-star. The current rating of two stars is probably due to the relatively outdated equipment. Fairly clean, much better than the surrounding two-star hotels.
