First off Big Bear in the fall is lovely, and this little cabin hotel by the like is just as lovely! Attached are some outside photos of our cabin as well as the general area. On the lakeside there is a cornhole game set up, bachi ball, a few different grills throughout, as well as 3 or 4 different gas fire pits for you and yours to relax at. They also have a dock that i chose to fish off of and it also a few canoes that you can rent as well, we didnt get a chance to do that though with a dog it would have been difficult anyway. There are also a lot of bikes available to rent which is nice because we are about 3 or 4 min (car ride) from the town. The room itself was lovely we had a nice kitchenette with everything you could ask for, we didn't have a fireplace in our room but have heard some do have them. The queen size bed was a little on the stiff side but thats the only semi-complaint i have about this lovely place. Would highly recommend to any of my friends!

Nostalgia…1950s amenities for 2024 prices. Shabby and threadbare. Loud music playing throughout the property until 1000PM. Cobwebs in the bathroom. No air conditioning but it did cool down at night. Assigned street parking. Motel 6 would have been a better choice.

We were assigned Unit 5, which may differ from other units. Except for bathrooms, all the heat comes from a gas-fired wall unit near the front door. The top-of-stairs bedroom gets way too warm, while other rooms may be comfortable or cold...a frustration partially solved by opening windows in winter. A huge puddle spans the entrance to the parking lot, making access by foot a little tricky. Unit 5 had all the basic essentials in working order, except for a dead outlet between the twin beds. No bathroom exhaust fans. No eating table...just a little counter, just large enough for two. Strange for a 2-bedroom unit. The decor and lighting were a little sad. The shortcomings may be more acceptable in warm weather, and the outdoor amenities a bigger draw.

Our women's motorcycle riding group rented out the 3 group cabins (8, 10 & 11) and had a wonderful time! There was plenty of paved parking to fit 4 bikes to one spot. Lots of outdoor gathering spaces with beautiful landscaping and trees in bloom in May. There were 2 brand new gas grills and the picnic tables were great for dinner at night. Gas fire pits are sprinkled throughout the property so that everyone could claim a space. I love that they light all the gas grills at sunset to set the ambiance. The property is right on the water and we enjoyed taking out the canoes for a paddle through the cove and watching the sunset. Cabin 10's showers are the smallest of the 3 cabins, but nothing like what I imagined after reading some reviews. They are regular stall sized showers, quality toiletries and super clean. Cabin 8 & Cabin 11's showers are larger if you care about that. Cabin 10 has an upper deck off the upstairs bedroom that has a great view and there's also a lower deck with adirondack chairs for morning coffee. Cabin 8 also has a lower deck with chairs. Cabin 10 & 8 are closest to the water. The bunkbed in Cabin 10 is in an open loft area. You will need to walk through the loft (bunkbed area) to use the upstairs bathroom or to access the stairs to go downstairs. Cabin 8 & 11 have more enclosed rooms upstairs. Each of the bedrooms had a fan and screens on the windows, which was helpful to get the air circulating. Customer service was impeccable! With our group of 20 ladies, Jesus responded quickly to texts when we wanted to take out the canoes, was patient and ever ready with a smile!

Super clean, cozy and safe. Loved the rustic cabin look! It was great because they even had a fan in the room, which I usually depend on. TV didn’t work, but that was fine. I am a stickler for clean bathrooms and appliances. Bathroom was fine but had leftover products from the previous people in the shower, and I found some hair on the wall. The coffee filter and plate on top of the fridge were dirty and leaking. Like no one has touched it in months. Again this is if I have to mention something because the place is truly adorable!
