WorldMark Big Bear Lake

The resort is clean and well maintained. It is a great family friendly place. We had stayed at this resort 20 years ago, so I was quite surprised by the lack of air conditioning. Also, our room was smaller than I remember the rooms we stayed in so long ago. Big bear is cool probably 9 months out of the year, but if you go in the summer, it can be quite hot. One of the 3 days we were there, it was 69 degrees in Big Bear, but it was 77 degrees in our room. Fans don't cut it. I wanted to stay another day in Big Bear, but with the weather heating up outside, I could not have tolerated the heat in the room. I'd recommend WorldMark Big Bear for visiting in the early fall or late spring when it is cooler rather than sweating it out in the summer months inside your room. Also, even though the nights cooled way down outside, as soon as the windows were closed, it was hot again inside the room.

Condo was clean, well equipped. Property facilities were more than expected. We were there at a less busy time and was exceptionally quiet. Property is away from "downtown" area but was walkable to grocery shopping and basic needs.

Wonderful family friendly hotel. Had lots of activities to keep the kids entertained along with a Scavature hunt for the whole family do to. (Which was alot of fun!) Friendly staff made our enjoyable experience memorable.

So nice. The room was huge and comfortable. So much to do. I wish we stayed longer!

Loved how the rooms came with everything you would need. Very spacious! Staff was super helpful and friendly!

BEWARE!! BEWARE!! If I could give this resort no stars, I would. I booked this room on 12/27/23 for a stay on March 10-12, 2024. This was supposed to be a Christmas preasant for my in-laws. My mother in law is disabled so upon booking with *******, I called the resort directly to ensure I would be on a ground floor. There was no problem there. I also called back a few weeks ago to make sure the notes for a ground floor were included and again, no problem. 2 hours before checkin, we received a call from the resort that they “received information and we’ll need to call another phone number”. They could not tell us what information they received. I called the other number to find out that our reservation was being cancelled. Mind you, my in laws had already made their way up the mountain. They first tried to blame the cancellation on a power outage. Then blamed *******. The person I was speaking to sounded panicked. I asked for a cancellation confirmation number which they could not provide. I immediately jumped on google reviews to find out this happens very often! THIS PLACE HAS NO INTEGRITY! I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Burea and I encourage everyone that has had this experience to do the same.

They lost it, or somebody on the staff stole a package that Ontrack delivered at the reception. I called before I arrived asking if I could use their address to send some packages containing gloves and snow clothes for my family; they said yes, I could use their address. When I arrived, there was a missing box, "the one with the most expensive items." First, they said there was no delivery; I showed them that the delivery company said they delivered the package at the front desk. One of the ladies there told me that she returned a big white box to UPS because there was not enough room to keep the box; I told her that Ontrack, not UPS, delivered the package and asked why she never called me. She said she tried to call me many times. The next day, I went to the room manager and the general manager to tell them what this young lady told me. They said they did not even have my phone since I had made the reservation with a third-party agency, but who did this lady know that the missing box was white and big? I wondered why she was so nervous when she said it to me. This place does not have a video camera in the reservation area, and they do not keep a record of deliveries. BE AWARE OF THE DELIVERY ANY PACKAGE AT THE FRONT DESK

What a place to stay in Big Bear. Cabin feel, very nice facilities. Check in was a breeze, and the ladies at the front were all more than friendly and very helpful. Five star all the way….

Great stay! Our only complaint is that you can hear every move the person staying upstairs makes. Maybe they were wearing cement shoes!? But this is the best place we’ve stayed at in Big Bear!
